Clash Royale Trick or Treat Challenge best decks guide

Some gifts in the arena!

Season 52’s third challenge has arrived, bringing an eerie twist to the arena with some Halloween pumpkins. This challenge, known as the Trick or Treat Challenge will gift you a box but it could be anything. So, without further adieu, let’s explore some of the top decks you can utilize for the Trick or Treat Challenge in Clash Royale.

Best Decks for Trick or Treat Challenge

In this event, the pumpkin will spawn in the center of the arena, housing a card inside. It’s a game of predictability, as you can anticipate what will emerge from the pumpkin. However, if you allow your opponent to spawn on the pumpkin first, you will gain insight into what it carries, and it’s the same for both players. All in all, it’s an enjoyable event.

To be fair, this unpredictability might be pretty tricky to put on the best decks, but I have a few suggestions that worked for me. So, here are our top three deck picks considering the Trick or Treat Challenge event.

1. Giant Skeleton, Sparky, Hunter, Zap, Tombstone, Tornado, Sparky, Goblin Barrell

Average Elixir Cost: 3.8

My first deck centers around the powerful Giant Skeleton and Sparky combo. Utilize Hunter and Tornado to control enemy troops, while Tombstone and Zap provide defense. Sparky’s support is essential. The Goblin Barrel adds a surprise factor to keep your opponent guessing.

When your Giant Skeleton goes down, its bomb can be devastating if it reaches the opponent’s tower. It can also benefit from the rage spell activating in the center of the base and attacking faster on defense.

2. Balloon, Inferno Dragon, Electro Dragon, Bowler, Freeze, Lumberjack, Snowball, Barbarian Barrel

Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

In my second deck, the Balloon is the star and it is very much the best win condition in the deck. Keeping it an aerially adept strategy, here we back it up with Inferno Dragon and Electro Dragon for dominance. The Bowler helps clear the path for your Balloon with the ground attacks.

Freeze and Lumberjack can be game-changers for your both defense and offense, who can serve at any moment in the game. Use Snowball and Barbarian Barrel for control and to counter enemy troops, and try to mix with the strategies after gifts are unwrapped in the base.

3. Bandit, PEKKA, Zap, Magic Archer, Fireball, Royal Ghost, Electro Wizard, Battle Ram

Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

The third and final deck is built around the Bandit and PEKKA, your primary offensive duo. Zap and Electro Wizard are your anti-swarm options, while Fireball adds extra punch to your pushes. I have noticed PEKKA is also one among the troops that emerge out of the gift, so this deck can be heavy for the opponent if not handled carefully.

Royal Ghost and Battle Ram create pressure and split-lane attacks. The Magic Archer can deal damage from a distance and help control the battlefield.

Final Thoughts

This event is unpredictable, but I have tried my best to line up the best decks needed. However, the decks mentioned are established decks that can boost your chances of success when used correctly. It’s vital to try out various decks, play with them in battles, and discover the ones that match your playstyle and card preferences.
