Earlier it seemed like the Fortnite v21.20 update is going to be all about No Sweat Summer but it seems like Epic Games shifted its focus and now it’s about Indiana jones. Not only the new quests have arrived but a new POI is launched on the islands called Shuffled Shrines. The quest is simple all it requires is for you to solve a puzzle that will help you enter the secret door.
How to unlock the Indiana Jones skin in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
The Battle Pass Quests for Indiana Jones is now available in Fortnite v21.20. To access the Indiana Jones outfit and additional things from his set, complete these quests:
- Search chests at Shifty Shafts (5) – Indiana Jones Banner Icon
- Damage opponents while riding or standing on a vehicle (500) – Rogue Archaeology wrap
- Use the Grapple Glove to swing off trees (10) – Raider’s Relics harvesting tool
- Collect the Durrburger Relic from The Temple and The Ruins in a single match – Expedition Bag back bling
- Find the Secret Door past the main chamber in Shuffled Shrines – Indy’s Dustoff emote
- Stash a Mythic or Exotic item in a tent – Indy’s Escape spray
- Make Runaway Boulders roll for 100 meters in a single match – First Misadventure Loading Screen
- Finish top 5 in a match – Emergency Raft glider
While four of these quests will award players with the Indiana Jones outfit, completing 10 of them will allow them to earn the Temple Explorer look.
How to enter the Shuffled Shrines POI in Fortnite
The new POI Shuffled shrines are located in the south of the sanctuary which is marked below. You need to visit it first. On reaching the POI, you need to search the location in order to get clues and find four runes on each edge of shuffled shrines. They will display one of these Red, Blue, and Yellow symbols.
The symbols of the runes changes in each game, so there’s no point in trying to copy the patterns of others. After getting the fire runes, head to the middle of shuffled shrines where you will find four interactive runes at the front of a door. Well solving the puzzles is a hit-and-miss game. The symbol on the runes in the front of the door should be similar to the ones scattered around the new POI shuffled shrines.
The symbols of the runes on left should match with the rune located in the southwest corner of the Shuffled Shrine. The ones placed second from the left should match with the rune located on the top right corner (Northwest). This all sounds so complicated but it isn’t that difficult to match the puzzle if you have a good photographic memory. Once the puzzle is solved the door will open to the main chamber, which contains a lot of traps so it is advised to go safely with precautions.
How to find the secret door past the main chamber in Shuffled Shrines
The quest isn’t completed after entering the main chamber, there’s an artifact inside which gives 250 gold bars, and apart from this, there’s a secret door to the right of this artifact. The entrance is hidden by green bushes. The Indiana jones challenge will be completed once the players enter the area and find two chests. The challenge will grant cosmetics, XP, and the Indiana Jones skin.
Finding the secret door is a tough task. Completing the puzzles and dodging the traps aren’t the only way out, you need to keep a close eye on your enemies who will land at the same POI to complete this challenge.
