The much-awaited new season of Epic Games’ popular battle royale Fortnite is finally here. Before the release of every new season, players stay very excited about the changes in maps, new skins, weapons, challenges, quests, and new themes that the developers bring forth with the update. This time is no different too. The makers have made quite some changes in the new map of Fortnite MEGA and have added several new POIs and locations along with the additions of new characters and a new biome.
New POIs and locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
Whenever Fortnite releases a new season, they bring around quite several changes in their maps. This is to fit the current theme of the season. This time for Fortnite MEGA, the theme is futuristic and set in Japan. So it is only normal that some of the new locations on the map look like a highly modernized Tokyo with neon lights running around everywhere.
Here are all the new POIs that have been introduced in Fortnite MEGA:
- Mega City: This is the most anticipated location on the map. It was revealed by leakers beforehand and generated quite a buzz. It is a futuristic city with neon lights running all around it.
- Steamy Springs: It is a nice Japanese-themed hot spring that has cherry blossoms blooming all around the location.
- Kenjutsu Crossing: This location is a small neighborhood with a large building. It is located on the southern side of the island.
- Knotty Nets: This POI is infested with hills which means it has a lot of covers for the players when they go into this location. It also has an island on the east coast.
All the leaks which were posted before the release of the new season teased the POI of Mega City which made the players very excited about it. Given the popularity the location has already received before the beginning, this will probably be the site where players will get more loot and new vehicles. So Mega City might now replace Titled Towers as the most populated POI of the island.
