December has been a very happening month for Fortnite in terms of collaborations. Ranging from famous artists such as The Weeknd and Eminem to famous brands such as LEGO getting their in-game modes, it has been a great month for the months. Currently, the Winterfest event is going on in Fortnite and the presents from Epic Games just keep on coming. This is because yet again another collab has been dropped and this time it is none other than John Wick. So hereās how you can get your hands on the skin of John Wick in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.
How to get John Wick in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
This wonāt be the first time that John Wick will be seen in Fortnite as the character first appeared back on June 28, 2019. Even though John Wick has made an appearance in the Item Shop of Fortnite several times, it has been long enough since he was seen in the game. John Wick made his return to Fortnite on December 21, 2023, at 7 PM ET.
There is no fixed date as to when John Wick might be going away from the game. So if you want to purchase his skin, you should do it right away. You can get just one skin of John Wick along with some more items based on him. There are a total of four styles available for his skin. Hereās everything you need to know about them.
John Wick Bundle
If you are planning on getting all the items from this collab, buying the bundle would be the best option for you. For 2400 V-Bucks, you will be able to get your hands on all the items and also save 900 V-Bucks in the process which would be otherwise wasted if you bought the skin and other items separately. Here are all the items that are a part of the bundle.
1. John Wick
John Wick was the first outfit made in Fortnite after a real-life person which is why it is more significant to fans. This skin of Legendary rarity comes with a total of four different styles and is available for 2000 V-Bucks. The default style is the one where he is wearing a white shirt and black suit and also still has a wedding ring on his finger. Here are the other styles that are available for this skin too.
- Damaged Style ā This style features John Wick in a more best-up manner. We can see that his suit is tattered and has several cuts, rips, and bullet holes all over it. His hair also appears to be in a mess and he also has bruises and cuts on his face.
- Bowery Black Style ā In this style, we can see John wearing his signature Baby Yaga outfit. This style has John Wick wearing an all-black suit which goes perfectly with his hitman persona. In this style, we can also see his wedding ring finger to be missing.
- High Table Duel Style ā This is the fourth and last style that is available for this skin. For this one, we can see him nicely dressed up for an occasion. This style also features him with long slicked-back hair and a missing wedding ring finger.
2. Assassin Pack Back Bling
This back bling comes along with the John Wick skin itself which means you wonāt need to spend any extra money on it. This back bling goes perfectly with the John Wick skin as it contains all the items that are needed by an assassin.
3. Wickās Katana Pickaxe and Back Bling
This is a back bling which can be bought for 500 V-Bucks. The great thing about this back bling is that the katana can be unsheathed from its scabbard and also be used as a pickaxe by you. This means that you get two things for the price of one which makes it a great offer.
4. Simple Sledge Hammer
This is a harvesting tool that you can get as a part of the John Wick Bundle. You can also purchase it separately if you decide not to get the bundle as it is not available with just the John Wick skin. It may appear as a simple sledgehammer to some, but for die-hard John Wick fans it holds great significance as they know this is the first weapon that was used by the character.
5. Bulletproof Emote
You can get this emote as a part of the John Wick bundle or also buy it separately for 200 V-Bucks. This emote makes the character beat on its chest and make bullets fall out from its outfit. Even though this emote can work on any skin, it is best paired with the Damaged style John Wick skin.
6. Be Seeing You Emote
You can buy this emote for 200 V-Bucks from the Item Shop in Fortnite. It features the character pointing at their eyes and then forward which is a reference to how John Wick had a conversation with Ares in the movie John Wick Chapter 2.
7. Lights Out Emote
This emote will cost you 400 V-Bucks in the Item Shop. When equipped, this emote features the character taking a lit candle and blowing it out respectfully. This is a reference to a scene in John Wick Chapter 4 where John Wick does the exact thing to pay respects to his late wife.
8. Assassin Wrap
This wrap can be used for both weapons and vehicles in Fortnite and is available for 300 V-Bucks. This wrap is based on the car of John Wick which was a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429. The car was one of the main reasons why John Wick came out of his retirement in the first place and thus is a great reference to the movies.
