Genshin Impact Perilous Trail Event Overview
The gameplay duration of the Perilous Trail is from the version 2.7 update to 2022/06/20 03:59 (Server Time). The event shop will be open from the version 2.7 update to 2022/06/27 03:59 (Server Time). To be eligible for the Perilous trial, players need to be on Adventure Rank 28 or above.
Players need to complete Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches, World Quest Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend, and also complete Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II, Arataki Itto’s Story Quest Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I, and World Quest A Teapot to Call Home: Part I.
How to play Genshin Impact Perilous Trail event
During this event, players need to enter the Chasm and investigate the mysteries along with completing various challenges to progress. To access the Realms of Guile and War, players need to interact with a mysterious wooden board. Once players are in, they can take part in the combat challenge.
There are four Realms of Guile and War. After completing the previous three, you’ll then be able to access the fourth. Three challenge difficulties are present in each Realm of Guile and War. Not only will completing higher difficulties allow you to collect better rewards, but it’ll also give you a better chance of understanding the secrets of The Chasm.
Challenges and Rules
For completing one combat round, players must complete 3 challenges, and their progress is automatically saved at the end of each round. In case of a player’s failure or leaving in the middle of the battle, they will default to starting from the first battle of the last round of combat.
Players will receive some Stratagem Shards for completing each challenge which they can use to adjust their party setup. With Genshin Impact’s new Perilous Trail gameplay mode, players will need to continuously defeat opponents within the Realms of Guile and War.
In Genshin Impact’s Perilous Trail game mode, players must configure their party setup at the beginning of each combat round. Players can choose either their characters or trial characters to form their parties, which can hold up to four characters.
When each combat round ends (after three challenges are complete), players must adjust their party set up according to the different deployment rules for different Realms of Guile and War. Make sure to choose your party members carefully, as they will greatly affect your chances of success in battle. Moreover, players can use Stratagem Shards to purchase up to three stratagems per domain. It can be used to buff characters, as well as re-deploy fallen characters.
Event Rewards
Different rewards can be obtained in the mysteries of Chasm and players need to finish challenges in the Realm of Guile and war to claim them all. Here is a list of all the rewards that can be obtained:
- Fading Twilight (Bow)
- Moonlit Craigstone
- Primogems
- Weapon Accessories Materials
- Mora
Moreover, the Moonlit Craigstone can also be exchanged with a list of other rewards including Event-Exclusive Weapon Refinement Material, Crown of Insight, Weapon Accessories Materials, and Talent Level-Up Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Hero’s Wit, and Mora.
