This constellation increases his shield strength and healing. Even with this constellation, he cannot be used to face tank enemy hits. Baizhu is not Dendro Zhongli.

Baizhu is a perfectly functional unit at C0. Generally, his constellations add more healing, and shields and increase his DMG as well as his Dendro application rate. Since DMG is not the main focus of his kit, even with constellations, his DMG will still leave a lot to be desired. As a result, C1 is a pretty decent stopping point even though none of his constellations are must-pulls.
