“Scarlet Leaves Pursue Wild Waves” Kaedehara Kazuha is an event-exclusive 5* sword-wielding Anemo character who was released all the way back in version 1.6. He is one of the best characters ever in Genshin Impact. Since he is having his second rerun in version 3.7, this article will break down the full value of his constellations.

C1: Scarlet Hills
Being able to use Kazuha’s skill again after using his burst may sound good on paper, but it has a downside. Kazuha’s elemental DMG buff is activated the moment he triggers a Swirl reaction and lasts for 8s. Further Swirls do not refresh this buff duration. If his burst activates this buff and then he used his skill again, it will take away time from the main DPS who could have utilized the buff better. The only upside for this constellation is less ER requirement.
C2: Yamaarashi Tailwind
Kazuha’s most broken constellation. It increases the DMG of Swirls created by the subsequent slashes of his burst, as well as provides an unconditional increase to all elemental and elemental reaction DMG caused by all party members.
C3: Maple Monogatari
The level increase to his skill only affects the Anemo DMG it does, not the Swirl DMG. This Anemo DMG scales off of ATK, Anemo DMG% and CRIT. Since Kazuha is not built with those stats, this constellation is not that important.
C4: Oozora Genpou
This constellation could help Kazuha gain a lot of energy in one go if used in conjunction with his C1’s extra skill cast. Other than that, this constellation is not that special. a
C5: Wisdom of Bansei
This constellation is also not that important for the same reason as his C3.
C6: Crimson Momiji
This constellation opens up a new potential playstyle for Kazuha. He can be used as an on-field Anemo DPS with an ATK%/Anemo DMG%/CRIT build. Although, this playstyle does not become mandatory at C6.
Final thoughts
C2 is Kazuha’s best constellation, whales should absolutely go for it. Considering how infrequently he has reruns, while it is totally possible for free-to-plays to go for his C2, it is not necessary by any means. The resources would be much better spent on dedicated main DPS characters. Since his C6 opens up a new playstyle, whales can go for it, but it is not necessary at all since it does not change his buffing ability in the slightest.
