Genshin Impact Thunder Sojourn is a new event that came with Genshin Impact 2.0 update, players can utilize the unique mechanics available in Inazuma to challenge the various Acts to earn rich rewards. The highlights of this event are Crown of Insight, Talent Books of Inazuma, and a free Beidou.
How to unlock the Thunder Sojourn event in Genshin Impact
To unlock this event, players have to clear the following conditions:
- Adventure Rank must be above 30.
- Players have to clear the Archon Quest “Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves”.
- Complete Ritou Escape Plan Quest in “Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”
Thunder Sojourn Event Overview
Act I: Bolt Blitz (Unlocks on July 22, 10:00 AM)
Players can summon Electrograna from the Thunder Sakura Bough and then move towards a Thunder Sphere. Using the launch icon, move towards the next Thunder Sphere till the destination is reached. Time can be added to the timer by collecting Electro Particles and by defeating the enemies.
Act II: Lightning Round (Unlocks on July 24, 4:00 PM)
This Act will have a time limit challenge where players will have to defeat enemies within a fixed time. Charging the Thunder Dwelling will allow deployment of Thunder Shock, which will aid in battle.
Act III: Weaving Lightning (Unlocks on July 27, 4:00 PM)
Like Act II, this will also have a timer in which enemies have to be defeated. Players can get buffs from Nimbus Gems by imbuing themselves with Electro, or by using the Electrograna. These buffs will also help in quicker clear of the time challenges.
Act IV: Automaton Front (Unlocks on July 30, 4:00 PM)
Players will have to defeat the Perpetual Mechanical Array in the Automaton Front Domain. In this Act, both the Thunder Dwelling and Nimbus Gems can be used to get various buffs and do damage to the enemies.

How to obtain the free Beidou in Thunder Sojourn
The Beidou that is available for free can be obtained by trading 1,000 Thunder Crystal and 1,000 Thunder Pellets. The invitation can be initiated from the Oceanlord’s Oath on the event page.

Thunder Pellets and Thunder Crystals can be used to buy various items from the event shop. As usual, the entire inventory of the shop can be bought, if all the acts are done completely.
