Genshin Impact Xilonen Pre-Farm Guide: Ascension Materials
As a Genshin Impact Geo character, Xilonen’s initial ascension materials will likely be the Prithiva Topaz stones. These stones are dropped by various Geo-aligned bosses in Genshin Impact.
Here’s a list of bosses that drop Prithiva Topaz:
- Geo Hypostasis: A giant rock-based elemental creature.
- Golden Wolflord: A massive wolf-like creature with Geo powers.
- Ruin Serpent: A mechanical serpent with Geo-based attacks.
- Azhdaha: A powerful dragon-like creature with Geo abilities.
- Lupus Boreas: A large wolf-like creature that can use Geo attacks.

Xilonen: Location of her Ascension Materials
Mob Drops
The materials required for Xilonen’s progression include the Sentry’s Wooden Whistle, Warrior’s Metal Whistle, and Saurian-Crowned Warrior’s Golden Whistle.
These items can be obtained from Sauroform Tribal Warrior enemies scattered across Natlan. You’ll need these materials for Xilonen’s Ascension and Talent upgrades, so it’s a good idea to farm extra for future use.
Additionally, these materials are also needed for Mualani’s progression in Genshin Impact, so if you’ve already Ascended the Hydro character, you might have some leftovers. You can find them using the adventurer’s handbook.
Local Specialty
To Ascend Xilonen, you’ll also need to gather material called Brilliant Chrysanthemum, a Local Specialty from Natlan. These flowers can be found around the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and near Huitztli Hill.
Like other Local Specialities, Brilliant Chrysanthemum respawns every 48 real-life hours, so it could take up to a week to collect enough to Ascend Xilonen fully. The locations are shown below:
Boss Drops
You will need 46 total boss drops to ascend Xilonen to level 90. The boss she needs isn’t available yet and will be released in version 5.1, so you can’t pre-farm this material. Save your fragile resins if you want to max her out fast.
Mora
In addition, you’ll need 420,000 Mora to complete all of Xilonen’s Ascension phases, plus an additional 1,637,400 Mora to level her up using Character EXP Materials fully. Be sure to challenge Blossoms of Wealth to gather more Mora. If possible, take on these challenges in Natlan, as they often feature Sauroform Tribal Warriors, allowing you to collect the necessary Whistle materials simultaneously.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Pre-Farm Guide: Talent Materials
As previously mentioned, Xilonen’s Talents also require Sentry’s Wooden Whistle, Warrior’s Metal Whistle, and Saurian-Crowned Warrior’s Golden Whistle, though in much larger quantities. These materials are relatively easy to farm, but if you’re short, you can also purchase more from Paimon’s Bargains using Stardust or Starglitter.
