So make sure to check these hero guides as well. For now, let’s focus on this guide of Blitzcrank. .
Blitzcrank is a champion with the common five skill sets of one passive and four actives. In this Blitzcrank guide, let’s see what are his abilities in LoL Wild rift, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of him.
Passive – Mana Barrier (Shield)
Blitzcrank’s passive grants him a shield if his HP drops down below 35% based on his current mana, which can absorb 90 damage up to 10 seconds.
Remember this effect has a long CD after activation so activates it wisely. Try to gank and rotate more aggressively when your passive is active as it lasts for 10 seconds which lasts longer than most team fights.
Skill 1 – Rocket Grab (CC)
Blitzcrank’s first skill is Rocket grab, he launches his right arm to pull the first enemy hit towards him while dealing 60/120/180/240 amount of magic damage and the enemy will be stunned for a while. This skill has its drawback and feedback too, if the enemy takes cover behind the minion then this skill can be dodged by the enemy champion or else Blitzcrank can interrupt the enemy’s jungler by pulling the creep they are trying to take down.
Skill 2 – Overdrive (Buff)
Overdrive grants Blitzcrank 70%/75%/80%/85% movement speed and 30%/40%/50%/60% attack speed boost for the next 4 seconds. After the effect recedes he is slowed by 30% for the next 1.5 seconds.
You can use this skill to catch up with your opponents to position yourself for a proper grab(hook). You can also use this ability to get back to your lane after recalling or respawn, side by side it will help you to rotate faster during a team fight.
Skill 3 – Power Fist (Knock Up)
Blitzcrank’s third skill enhances his next attack to deal critical damage and knock up the affected target while dealing 105 amount of physical(180%/200%/220%/240%) damage.
This skill is mainly used for initiation purposes or to keep the opponent in place after a successful hook.
Skill 4 – Static Field (AoE)
Blitzcrank’s Ultimate and it has two phases.
- Passive– When off cooldown static field has a passive component that makes Blitzcrank’s attack mark enemies and marked enemy receive 40/80/120 amount of magic damage after each second.
- Active– it is a short cooldown magic damage burst out silence skill. After casting it Blitzcrank releases a charge and silence the enemies for 1 second while dealing 200/325/400 amount of magic damage.
Use it carefully to burst down the enemies and prevent those who survive from escaping. This is a very useful skill during gank, so prioritize using it against your mobile opponents with blink/dash skills.
Skill up Methods for Blitzcrank
Unlock and level up skill 1 until it’s maxed. Then start leveling up skill 2 followed by skill 3. Ultimate Skill 4 whenever available.
Invest skill points in overdrive to increase Blitzcrank’s movement speed bonus. It is better to spend points in overdrive over power fist cause the knock up duration does not scale with level.

League of Legends: Wild Rift Blitzcrank Gameplay Tips
Blitzcrank is a sustained melee champion played as the support with ADR in Dragon lane. You can play 2-2-1 rotation in the early phase then you can easily switch your lane to help your team. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our League of Legends: Wild Rift Blitzcrank guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game in the game.
At the start of the game buy Null Magic Mantle; then head towards the Dragon lane and place wards in the enemy’s jungle near the buff. Then try to invade it with the help of your marksman or else pull the buff monster and reset its HP.
It will surely tilt your enemy but be careful as you increase your rank you will find more enemies who will be expecting this move. Otherwise, you can simply help your MM to farm faster by clearing lanes. Do not indulge yourself in an unnecessary team fight until you reach level 5.
After completing Zeke’s Convergence focus on your boot according to the enemy team but do not upgrade it to the enchanted part. Your main objective is to protect your ally and push turret so whenever you get that opportunity try to rotate in the mid lane for a successful gank. Buy Kindlegem in this stage so that you can upgrade it to Protector’s Vow or Warmog‘s Armor according to your need. Use the brushes and fog of war to your advantage, casting your skill 1 while you are invisible to the enemy will surely catch them by surprise. Try to hook enemies near the wall. You can combine Rocket grab plus flash for a longer hook.
In this phase, Blitzcrank shines the most. Do not hesitate to guard your allies cause now you are tanky enough to initiate any team fight, cast your skills on enemy squishy heroes to gain the battlefield advantage. Keep an eye on the map and rotate with your damage dealer.
Repeat the skill combos which are used in the mid-phase. And one last thing helps your jungler/ally to take elemental drakes, at least provide them the vision to avoid enemy ganking.
