Ashfall, the post-apocalyptic adventure MMORPG from NetEase Games is getting up for its official launch in China. Slated for a release on November 24, 2024, the pre-downloads will open a couple of weeks prior.
Ashfall brings a fantastic post-apocalyptic gameplay experience
First announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, the game is set in an Eastern post-apocalyptic world, where you’ll encounter other adventurers. Planned earlier for a release on mobile devices in 2023, we didn’t see any official launch apart from a couple of closed beta tests.
Ashfall offers a thrilling post-apocalyptic journey where survival and exploration go hand in hand. Set in a future where AI has taken over, leading to a catastrophic war between humans and machines, players are thrust into a world that’s been shattered and overrun by demons. So, you step out into a fragmented, dangerous world full of enemies, strange landscapes, and hidden secrets.
As you venture across mountains, deserts, and snowfields, you’ll explore everything from towns facing water shortages to cities floating on the sea. Along the way, you’ll battle massive humanoid creatures, flying machines, and deadly mutant worms. But you won’t be alone as Ashfall encourages teamwork. You can join forces with fellow players to conquer dungeons, engage in PvP battles, and form guilds.
The test server for Ashfall is now available for pre-download, giving players a chance to get ready for the upcoming adventure. Starting at 10 AM on September 12, 2024, you can download the game and register for test qualifications. As for the official launch of Ashfall in China, it’s currently slated for November 24, 2024.
You can pre-register to be notified as it launched here via the Haoyou Kuaidao app store. For the global release details, there haven’t been any announcements, so we will have to wait for NetEase to notify fans about the development of the global version.
