The Brawl Stars developers have kicked off another exciting Community Event packed with numerous rewards and surprises. This Brawl Stars #DeadGame Community Event introduces a new box called The Dead Box. Everyone can earn 10 dead boxes for free by collectively hitting 20 billion Takedowns together.
Earlier, this year in March, the game also introduced the Brawl Star #100StarrDrops Community Event. You can look forward to more exciting updates, collaborations, and events as showcased in their recent 2025 Roadmap.
Brawl Stars #DeadGame Community Event Overview
This community event is quite similar to the previous #100StarrDrops Community Event. Just like before, instead of competing against each other, you will need to join hands and perform takedowns to earn 10 dead boxes, which are new items created specifically for this event.
The aim is to achieve 20 billion takedowns collectively as a community, and you have until 31 October to complete all the milestones. You may be curious about the rewards from the dead boxes, so let’s talk about that.
What is a Dead Box in Brawl Stars and what’s inside them
The Dead Box is an exclusive Halloween-themed treasure box that is newly released for the DeadGame Community Event. These exclusive boxes can contain Coins, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges, Brawlers, and Halloween-themed spooky cosmetics.

You can also obtain all the non-exclusive Brawl-O-Ween skins which are back this year along with three new additions, Future Pam, Gruesome Gus, and Decaying Dynamite. These skins will be available in the shop and you can purchase them with gems.
New Zombie-themed Game Modes
This event also brings three new game modes to celebrate Brawl-O-Ween this year:
- Pumpkin Plunder
- Dead Weight
- Zombie Brawl

Play these zombie-themed game modes to double your progress as each takedown in these modes counts as double takedowns. They will also rotate daily throughout the event.
Brawl Stars #DeadGame Community Event Rewards
Rewards will be distributed based on the milestones reached during the DeadGame Community Event. Double Mastery Madness is currently live in the game.
Milestone Reached | Rewards Earned |
---|---|
5 billion Takedowns | Double XP |
10 billion Takedowns | HYPERCHARGE STARR DROP |
15 billion Takedowns | Double daily Starr Drops |
20 billion Takedowns | 10 Dead Boxes for everyone |
Please note that the 10 Dead Boxes will only be delivered on 31 October even if the milestone is reached sooner. So keep grinding until then, and I will also join in as well because those boxes are very tempting.
Special Spooky Giveaway and How to Participate in the DeadGame Community Event
If you thought the new event, content with all the rewards in the game was enough, think again. Brawl Stars is also hosting a DeadGame Community Event giveaway where five lucky players will win every single item from the Dead Boxes, including all Brawlers, Skins, and other resources.

To join this giveaway, simply take a screenshot or record a video of you playing any of the new zombie-themed game modes and share it on social media using the #DeadGame and #BrawlStars hashtags in your post.
