Supercell’s Clash of Clans has arrived with yet another exciting event with Anime Clash. This is part of the spotlight series of events which we will be featured in every month, and with the August 2024 Anime season in the queue, it becomes fascinating to see these Anime-themed characters, troops, and rewards joining us. So, as part of monthly events, let us see what’s in store with this event for us.
Clash of Clans Anime Clash August 2024 event overview
The Anime Clash event in Clash of Clans delivers a fresh wave of excitement and challenges for players. Like other in-game events, it offers a variety of themed challenges that not only boost resource collection but also introduce a host of engaging activities.
The Anime Clash event is scheduled to run from August 9th to August 30th, 2024. Over these days, players can progress through the event track to unlock a variety of rewards. In the following sections of the article, I’ll detail the specific rewards you can earn, providing a comprehensive overview of what awaits you.
Event Strategies
Once again, there will be a special event building where players can claim ice cubes daily and access the event. Like the buildings from previous events, this one will be located next to the trader’s shop. However, instead of earning ice cubes through specific building takedowns like in past events, you’ll now get them by achieving stars in multiplayer battles.
Coming to rewards for the event, we will be collecting Event Medals to redeem and earn from the Trader’s shop alongside other resources such as the Hero Equipment introduced in the December 2023 update, we can get more of these featured in the event shop.
As you dive into the event, you’ll need to collect magical crystals during multiplayer battles, primarily by targeting Wizard Towers. The Broom Witch, unlocked at 3,000 points, specializes in taking down these towers, making it a valuable asset in your attacks.
Event Troops
Two new event troops will be making an appearance in this event. The new limited event troops in the Anime Clash event are Mecha and Broom Witch. Both are air units, each bringing something special to the game. Mecha is like a flying tank that deals massive damage. It’s tough and can take a beating while dishing out powerful attacks.
You can draw comparisons with the PEKKA, which is a fantastic ground troop. Meanwhile, Broom Witch is a bit of a mix between Minions and Yetimites. When she gets taken down, she spawns up to 24 of them units, adding extra damage to your enemy’s base. This makes her super versatile for both initial attacks and follow-up waves.
Event Rewards
The reward will have Hero Equipment, which we will be having in the reward tracked as given via the leaks. We have the decorations, all rarities of Ores, and other rewards to collect. If you want to get more of them, you will get all three types of Ores, Starry, Glowy, and Shiny ores to collect and use. The Books are nice if you have collected enough medals, so keep track of them too.
You can earn up to 3750 magical medals by completing the event track and the bonus track. Additionally, purchasing the event pass provides extra rewards, in total 5500 magic medals, 600 glowy ore, and 80 Starry ore, essential for upgrading epic equipment.
Next, in the shop, we also offer other rewards. The new Magic Mirror Hero Equipment of Archer Queen is the go-to for 3100 event medals, it is great equipment for your queen. It is a cloning equipment, which helps you to mirror your Queen during the attack. It has been showcased in the recent challenge already, so you can check it out before going for the gear.
