Clash of Clans is here with yet another season, which kicks off August 2024 with the exciting Anime season making its debut. As always, a new season brings intriguing events, and this time, we have the second challenge that has arrived titled the Mirror Clone Technique in Clash of Clans to beat. If you’re reading this article, you’re in the right place to learn how to secure those three stars with your attack.
Introducing the Mirror Clone Technique Challenge in Clash of Clans
Now, the name might be confusing to some of you, and might wonder if the mirror card has arrived at Clash of Clans. Well, sort of. There is new epic equipment for the Archer Queen coming with the medal event in a couple of days, and that gear allows her to clone two more of her. Alongside the event, anime-themed troops are being featured as well.
On the rewards front, the structure stays the same as in past challenges, with the team sticking to their usual distribution approach, showing no signs of changing it soon. You will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion.
How to beat the Mirror Clone Technique Challenge in Clash of Clans
I know it isn’t easy to directly jump into the game and try out the new troops, but I suggest you play those new anime troops that are here. Still, I will give a short overview of these troops, they are called Mecha and Broom Witch. Both are air troops, while Mecha is kind of like a tank that can deal high damage, Broom Witch has a good mix of Minion and Yeti’s Yetimite spawn once they are taken down.
Focusing on the strategy, start with one Broom Witch troop and place it to the top right of the Clan Castle, well away from the Wizard Tower. It will travel towards the Wizard Tower, which it targets, allowing you to take it down while also helping you to trigger out the defending Head Hunters.
Use your Skeleton Spell on top of the single Elixir Storage at the top side of the base covered with decorations to take out the Head Hunters, preventing them from posing a threat to your heroes. Place your Poison Spell on top of the Head Hunters and freeze them to lock them inside the poison, dealing enough damage to eliminate them.
Next, place another Broom Witch troop in the bottom right of the Wizard Tower. This is used to take down the tower and create an opening for your Queen. On the bottom left of the base, deploy your Golem near the Ricochet Cannon, followed by the Queen.
As soon as you drop her, activate her ability to clone two others thanks to the new Equipment, and use an Invisibility Spell on top, followed by a Rage Spell in front. Now, you have to repeat this process, as Mirror Queens helps in taking down the Town Hall easily. As soon as the Archer Queens become visible, turn them invisible again.
However, prioritize your main Archer Queen with the Invisibility Spells. This technique is enough to take down the Town Hall and let the Queen alone to clear. Next up, deploy your Earthquake Spell on top of the bunched-up Inferno Towers to the left. Next, deploy your Warden in the same area and instantly activate his ability so the fireball clears the area.
Deploy three Mecha troops in front to utilize the Rage Aura from the Warden. Then, place three Broom Witch troops, one on either side of the Ricochet Cannon and one to the Grand Warden statue clearing them off and tank the multi-Archer Tower, protecting the Mecha troops.
As your troops move across to the X-Bows and they start firing, send in the next two Broom Witch troops to take out the base and secure your three stars.
