What to expect from the Hammer Jam 2024 event in Clash of Clans
Originally launched in 2018, this event allows you to upgrade buildings at half the usual cost and time. It typically arrives before a major update, giving fans a chance to strengthen their bases fast. With construction costs and times slashed by 50% applied to all buildings, including walls in the game, laboratory upgrades and Pets too, so it’s the perfect time to upgrade.
Also for the first time ever, we will be getting to see Heroes involved as well, who will have a 50% chop of their upgrade costs and time, may be helpful for you to save those resources for the new hero. There is also a resource production boost up to three times, which you can take advantage of with the 3x storage capacity you will have during this period.

Tips for the Hammer Jam 2024 event in Clash of Clans
Now, as I’ve explained the basics, I want to share a few tips you might need to take note of. For the building upgrades, you can go as you think, depending on the priorities you have. However, I suggest you start with short upgrades to maximize the discounts. Leave longer upgrades for the end of Hammer Jam to get as much benefit from the time reduction as possible and the effect to last longer.
Save a builder specifically to use extra resources on wall upgrades, as walls are one of the most costly parts of a maxed-out base. Next up, remember that builder and research potions double in value during Hammer Jam, so using them can speed up upgrades significantly. Consider using gems to buy these potions, or check the Clan War League shop to purchase Builder and Research Potions.
Books skip the time of an upgrade entirely, making them less affected by Hammer Jam’s time reduction. Save them for post-event upgrades if you plan to head straight to Town Hall 17. Keep the Laboratory busy always. I suggest farming should be your priority, use the resource boosts and the storage capacity will triple to your advantage.

It is no new news that a brand new 5th Hero is arriving at Clash of Clans, which has also been a point of discussion in many of the recent AMAs that we had on the subreddit of the game. However, the recent cinematic did give a glimpse of this new hero, who is set to be a Minion King. The name isn’t much of a surprise, as he’s essentially a larger version of the sneaky little air troops we already have in the game.
Alongside this, there was also a hint of the builder standing in front of a notice board where we could see a design of the new Town Hall etched in, suggesting it’s almost ready to debut. Since Hammer Jam is ending in the last week of November, the TH17 update might be on the horizon during the same period.
