Clash of Clans regularly features Clan Games events that offer exciting rewards for players. A pattern is followed, where in which the rewards are shared on social media before the update goes live. However, in the June 2023 Clan Games, players were in for a surprise as the rewards turned out to be different from what was initially shared via Clash of Clans Twitter. This unexpected twist left many players puzzled and curious about the reasons behind the discrepancy.
Clash of Clans Clan Games rewards were different from the ones tweeted
In the Tweet by the official Clash of Clans account, it was noticeable that players had the opportunity to accumulate a total of 140 gems with the 2x Power Potion, 2x Research Potion, and a good percentage of Gold or Elixir boost by selecting the appropriate rewards from the tiers.
However, when the June 2023 Clan Games in the game went live, the actual rewards displayed to the players differed from what was initially shared. This unexpected deviation caused confusion within the Clash of Clans community.
Comparing the two, the final tier difference was the most evident one. While the previous post has been displaying a Rune of Elixir with 100 gems and Book of Building is the one appearing, the games currently have a Book of Heroes with Rune of Gold. Surprisingly, all boosts are removed and directly replaced with resource amounts.
Although there isn’t a heavy backlash in this regard, there were mixed reactions from the players. There hasn’t been any clarification or statement from the Clash of Clans team yet, with the old rewards still kept posted on the official account.
