COD Mobile: How to fix Download Configuration Failed error in Season 13 Test server

A new version of the test server is out!

Activision released the Call of Duty Mobile Season 13 test server on 14th December which will end on 16th December. Meanwhile, a huge number of players are encountering a Download Configuration Failed error in the COD Mobile Season 13 test server. As a result, the players outside the United States are not able to access the test server. However, Activision has finally acknowledged the error and responded to it with a fix.

Addressing this issue with the beta server, Activision has released the second version of COD Mobile Season 13 beta, where they have fixed this error. They have provided a new link to download the second version, which is mentioned below, and asked the players to report any further issues they face regarding this.

COD Mobile download configuration failed

The second version of the COD Mobile Season 13 test server is available to download for Android players. The APK file size is around 2 GB, and it requires around 4 GB of free storage to be installed.

So, if you are facing the Download Configuration failed error, follow the steps mentioned below to download and install the second version of the beta update:

  1. Download the APK file of the second version of COD Mobile Season 13 Beta here.
  2. Now, go to the File Manager and locate the APK file and install it.
  3. Further, give permission to install the APK file by navigating to the Settings > Safety > Privacy > Install Apps from unknown sources.
  4. It will take around 2-3 minutes to complete the installation, depending on the speed of your device.
  5. Now, Open the Call of Duty Public Test application and login with the Guest or Facebook account.

Keep in mind that Activision only allows the first 20000 players to enter into the Public Test Server. So make sure you hurry up a little if you want to save yourself a spot in the Call of Duty Mobile Season 13 Public Test server.

Also, this file and build is independent of the main build. So you do not need to remove or do anything with your main COD Mobile application. It will install as another application that is executed separately.
