Alongside gameplay changes, Season 3 also delivers several themed events and collaborations, including Pop Team Epic and the returning NieR: Automata crossover, which last arrived in Season 5, 2025. With a new Battle Pass, Challenge Pass, and multiple store draws arriving throughout the season, there’s plenty of new content to explore.

COD Mobile Season 3 2026 Paranoia: Key Highlights and Seasonal Events

New Mode: DMZ: Recon Quick Play

DMZ: Recon gets a faster-paced variant this season with the arrival of Quick Play. This is designed for players who want shorter matches while still experiencing the core DMZ: Recon gameplay loop of looting, fighting, and escaping with gear.

This new mode drops players into a condensed section of Serpent Island, focusing on the island’s northern areas, including Kurohana Base, Observatory, Kurohana Ship, Port, and Residential.

Only four squads deploy into the match, creating tighter encounters and quicker action compared to the standard extraction experience. The extraction switch has also been moved outside the ship’s interior, adding more tension as teams battle for control around the extraction point.

Pop Team Epic Event

The bizarre humor of Pop Team Epic arrives in Call of Duty: Mobile through a special collaboration event. Players collect puzzle pieces by playing matches, which can be used to unlock Puzzle Challenges. Completing these challenges reveals comic panels from the Pop Team Epic four-panel series.

Collecting all panels unlocks a full set of themed rewards, including weapon camos, a Pop Team Epic weapon blueprint, an emote, charms, sprays, and other cosmetic items.

Spring Invasion

Spring Invasion brings an alien-themed event that rewards players simply for logging in and completing missions. Throughout the event, players can unlock multiple cosmetics, including the Crash — Spring Breaker and Crash — Spring Fling Operator Skins.

Additional rewards include themed avatars, calling cards, and other seasonal cosmetics tied to the spring celebration.

Returning Event NieR: Automata

The NieR: Automata collaboration returns with a modified version of its original event. Players command the YoRHa unit in a branching mission structure where they move across a map, collect skill chips, and unlock routes by completing objectives.

Progress through the event rewards players with items like the Kui Ji — YoRHa No. 9 Type S Operator Skin, the EMR 2 — Atonement of the Ancients blueprint, and several NieR-themed melee weapons.

Additional events during the season will offer rewards such as the QXR — Lethal Carapace blueprint and the Ruin — Coleoptera Operator Skin.

COD Mobile Season 3 2026: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass

Season 3 introduces a sci-fi and cosmic horror themed Battle Pass packed with new operators, weapon blueprints, cosmetics, and Call of Duty Points.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

The new MX Guardian shotgun arrives in the free tiers. This fully automatic 12-gauge shotgun features a large magazine and excels in close-range combat. Also arriving in the Battle Pass is the Tactical Mirror Battle Royale class.

This unique ability deploys a mirror device that allows squad members to duplicate high-tier items and ammunition. Players progressing through the free tiers will also unlock additional camos, blueprints, and cosmetic rewards.
