The Call of Duty franchise has always been well known for the Zombies mode. Call of Duty Mobile is nothing different than that. A wide variety of game modes in COD Mobile helps to enhance the overall gaming experience of the players. The game introduces several time-bound modes which can be played only for a limited duration. Zombie mode was one of these modes added to the game last year, only to be removed after a couple of months on March 25th, 2020. However, developers have now announced that the much-anticipated Zombies mode will be making a return in the latest COD Mobile update in China. Moreover, the COD Mobile global version players will also have a chance to play this iconic version later this year.

What happened to the COD Mobile Zombies mode?
COD Mobile Zombies Mode was widely popular among Call of Duty Mobile players. It managed to amass the attention of the majority of the players. The mode was based on survival instincts, where a squad had to survive against several waves of AI-controlled zombies.
The rewards increased in leaps, according to the duration that a squad survived against the dudgeon of the zombies. This mode was adapted from the main series of Call of Duty games. However, it was removed from the game for an indefinite time in March. The removal was made official in the February community update.
Zombies mode is finally returning in COD Mobile
Developers have finally announced the return of this iconic mode which is available in the latest update in the COD Mobile CN version. This update in COD Mobile China came with a heavy emphasis on new Zombies content. Moreover, Shi No Numa, the original Zombies map will soon be available in the Chinese version of COD Mobile. Shi No Numa is a popular map that first appeared in World at War. And now it seems to be making a return once again as it can be seen in the lobby background of the Chinese version.
After a brief appearance in the 2019 Raid mode, COD Mobile players could soon be venturing back to the Japanese Zombies map. Needless to say, the return of the Zombies in COD Mobile will have a major impact on the wide player base.
Zombies will also return to the Global version later this year
As of now the devs have announced the return of Zombies mode only for COD Mobile CN version. But that’s not the end of the news. The global version players will also get to play this iconic mode once again when it returns later this year. Furthermore, the devs have further announced that they are planning to release a whole new Zombies experience for the global version players.
