COD Warzone Mobile, the highly anticipated battle royale title from Activision has again pushed its release further and will get a global launch in Spring 2024, with the dates not confirmed yet. The game is currently in limited release in select countries of Australia, Chile, Norway, and Sweden, and an update will be bringing the Rebirth Island.
Speculation about COD Warzone Mobile’s May 2023 release proved false earlier
COD Warzone Mobile was first announced in March 2022, nearly two years after the initial rumors of the game arriving on mobile circulated. During the same period, there were a lot of speculations about the game’s arrival in May 2023 with the iOS Store listing indicating the same, which, however, didn’t turn out to be true.
The limited release began with Australia being the first followed by releases in Sweden, Chile, and Norway, and currently remained the same way without other regions being added, with VPN use being discouraged. For the same regions, the Rebirth Island will be added as an update to the game and will be available in the game upon global launch.
Warzone aims to deliver an exhilarating FPS Battle Royale experience. Players can enjoy epic, expansive maps, which will also feature iconic locations like Verdansk. With diverse points of interest, including Stadium, Dam, Airport, and the Gulag, the action never stops. As far as game modes are concerned, apart from the Battle Royale, you will also have Multiplayer Modes at your disposal.
COD Warzone Mobile could have a launch window from March to June 2024
While it’s been announced that COD Warzone Mobile is scheduled for a global launch in Spring 2024, the exact date remains unconfirmed. The release can be anytime within the mentioned window, so the months of March to June are to look out for. Additionally, the App Store listing mentions the possible global release date as April 2024. Till then, interested players can head to the Google Play Store and the App Store to pre-register for the game.
