The latest Cookie Run: Kingdom September 2022 update is out now, and players will get new features in the game such as an Epic Cookie, a magic candy for Squid Ink Cookie, and more. There are also some changes to production, so players should have an easier time maintaining their Trains and Wishes.

New Epic Cookie: Candy Diver Cookie
Candy Diver Cookie has arrived in the kingdom! They are a unique cookie with an ability that relies on your Amplify Buff stats. This means you should start saving up your Sweet Candy Toppings since this is the best way to guarantee that you’ll have a higher chance of getting a good effect from their skill. They can be found from the regular gacha, but they have a higher drop rate in their own featured banner. Try to pull for them when you can, since their banner only lasts for 2 weeks.
New Magic Candy: Squid Ink
Squid Ink Cookie now has a Magic Candy, which is unlockable after you level them up to 50. Their candy adds new effects to their skill, such as extra damage, and extra hits, and when you upgrade the candy to Level 10 you even get extra DMG Resist that depends on the number of foes in their skill range.
Another interesting thing is they get a DEF Reduction debuff that doesn’t apply to bosses, which means they can be used on Guild Bosses like Avatar of Destiny and The Living Abyss. If you’re in a high-ranked guild, you should look into investing in their new Magic Candy,
Their candy can be upgraded up to Level 30 and needs Arcane Crystals as well as Squid Ink Resonants. Resonants can be crafted in the Magic Laboratory, but note that you’ll need Pure Crystals and Jellybeans to craft them in the Laboratory.
New Kingdom Production Improvements
A new upgrade can be unlocked in the Sugar Gnome Laboratory. This upgrade lets you see your current production buildings in one neat dashboard, which makes it easier to keep track of what goods you need to be crafting. You can also tap the Produce All button, which lets you choose between crafting the items that you have the lowest amount of, crafting items that take the shortest time to make, or crafting items that take the longest.
With this new feature, you’ll be able to produce materials and goods without individually tapping the buildings in your kingdom, which can be time-consuming. Note that you’ll first have to complete a quest related to the Sugar Gnome Laboratory before you can get the upgrade.
New Building Upgrades
More tiers for certain production buildings have been added, such as:
- Level 7 Bakery (Lets you produce 5 Hearty Ryes at a time)
- Level 8 Bakery (Lets you produce 5 Tart Jampies at a time)
- Level 5 Artisan’s Workshop (Lets you produce 5 Biscuit Planters at a time)
- Level 7 Flower Shop (Lets you produce 5 Candy Flowers at a time)
Addition of Ads
Players can now choose to watch advertisements in-game, and a 30-second video will play in exchange for various benefits. These include:
- A free gift in your inbox that contains 30 Crystals, 30 Rainbow Cubes, and 20 Topping Pieces (can be redeemed up to 3 times a day)
- A 30-minute decrease from any given Sugar Gnome Laboratory upgrade (can be redeemed up to 5 times a day, with a 10-minute interval between videos)
- An extra daily gift in the Cookie Gacha that contains common or rare soulstones and small Toppings.
