Cookie Run: Kingdom is set to release the new Version 5.7 update “Welcome! MyCookie”. The update will be available after maintenance which will be held around 14:00 to 19:00 (GMT +9). The new update is a direct continuation of the story that takes place in Version 5.6 and has brought a playable Cookie, new costumes, previous Cookie adjustments, cosmetics, and more.
Some portions of this update’s content may change before its release. The finalized changes will be available in the patch notes once the update is complete. As it is, the new update will be filled with new content such as new Cookies, New Episodes, Limited Events, Toppings, Treasures, QoL updates, and more!
Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 5.7 Update: New Cookie Characters
Special Cookie: Cream Ferret Cookie

A new Cookie with the new ANCIENT+ Rarity has been added. Cream Ferret Cookie is a Support Cookie that uses the skill “Snuggly Ferret.”
Skill Description: Transforms into their animal form, healing allies and granting DMG Resist, CRIT%, and CRIT DMG buffs. Cream Ferret Cookie hops onto the Cookie with the highest ATK (excluding Safeguarded Cookies), granting them the Fuzzy Scarf buff; then returns to their Cookie form and grants themselves a Debuff Resist buff.
The friendly critter scurries to a Cookie whose HP is below a certain point and grants them the Precious Friend buff and Fuzzy Scarf buff. They cannot use their skill temporarily while scurrying to a Cookie. Cream Ferret Cookie is immune to damage while in their animal form. Cream Ferret Cookie has been added to the Pavilion of Promise. They can be obtained the same way and with the same chance as the other Special Cookies

Cuckoo Town Square
The repairs in the Town Square are finally over, and it is once again open for visitors! For the first time, you will get to create your own MyCookie and visit the Town Square as your very own Cookie. Have fun with MyCookie!
Hang out in the Town Square to earn useful items depending on the time you spend there. You can spend time in any area of the Town Square to earn the items. The item counter will reset every midnight, so make sure to claim the earned items by then. Complete daily quests in the Town Square to earn extra items.
Icings
Play in the Town Square to earn new Icing items and draw from the Icing Gacha. Certain Icing items have the option to customize their color. You can use Hair Dyes to change MyCookie’s hair color, which comes in different varieties. Regular Dyes change the hair to the specified color, while Random Dyes change it to one of five available colors randomly.
Custom Dyes allow you to select a color from five available options, and Special Dyes change the hair to one of six available colors randomly, with a lower chance of getting a special color. Contacts can be used to change MyCookie’s eye color, and collecting Contacts will unlock new eye colors. Note that certain eye shapes can only have one fixed eye color.
You can also change the color of MyCookie’s lips and their dough tone by picking the desired color from the palette. Weaving together duplicate Icing items can result in new items. Using Epic Icings as materials for weaving will yield other Epic Icings. In the event of a Super Success, you might receive Icings from the featured set.

Cuckoo Town Square Quiz Game
Use your knowledge of the CookieRun: Kingdom lore to win in the Quiz Game. Play daily at the following times and win prizes to use in the Town Square:
- 00:00 – 02:00 (GMT+9)
- 05:00 – 07:00 (GMT+9)
- 11:00 – 13:00 (GMT+9)
- 16:00 – 18:00 (GMT+9)
- 20:00 – 22:00 (GMT+9)
A single Quiz Game consists of 7 rounds. You will start the game with 3 Hearts and lose a Heart with each wrong answer. The game will end for you when you lose all 3 Hearts.
Earn Quiz Points and Town Square Coins for each correct answer. The amount of points awarded depends on the number of participants in each round: the total amount of points for one round will be divided equally between all players who answered correctly in that round. You will also receive a certain amount of Town Square Coins with each correct answer, and your total earnings will be displayed on the result screen.
The number of Town Square Coins you can earn each day is capped at 850. Earn and collect Quiz Points to progress through the ranking table. Claim your Ranking Reward depending on your placement in the ranking.
Cuckoo Town Square’s Error Busters Season 1
Face monsters and fix errors in the Cuckoo Town Square! As an Error Buster, you will have to deal damage to monsters to earn points. There are a total of two seasons, each featuring different Season Cookies. Enhance your play with the new Bug Fix Effects and climb up the ranking!
Use Protocol Data Fragments to augment your Protocols. Depending on the augmented effects, you can activate set bonus effects for combinations of 2 to 5 effects. Refer to Set Effects for more details. Play in Error Busters and earn Golden Beetle Coins, which can be used in the Error Busters shop.
Cookie Run: Kingdom Version 5.7 Update: Miscellaneous Content and Updates
- Power up your Darkness-type Cookies with a new Artifact. The Darkness Artifact will increase the Cookies’ Darkness-type DMG. Upgrade the Artifact to a certain level to deal additional damage to the bosses. The price of upgrading the Darkness Artifact is the same as the other Artifacts.
- A new Shadow Hex will fill the Shooting Star meter whenever an ally deals critical damage. When the meter is filled, two Shooting Stars will hit the battlefield, dealing damage to the two Cookies with the highest ATK.
- Some Cookies’ stats have been rebalanced.
- Some Treasures’ stats have been rebalanced.
- Tower of Records: Come Together! Cuckoo Town Square unlock requirements have been lifted. The interface has been changed to display the current number of points for each Special Cookie and the remaining number of Purity Crystals
