D23 Expo 2022 resumes after a two-year halt due to Covid-19
Disney’s D23 Expo started in the year 2009 and was named after the year 1923, the year Disney was founded. Since 2009, Disney has been hosting the D23 Expo once every two years. The event was a mega showcase of Disney’s upcoming projects and existing projects.
This year’s D23 Expo is resuming after a two-year halt due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is going to be a flagship exposition of Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilms, and 20th Century games that have already been released or are nearing release.
The event will showcase new game releases from Marvel and Disney
The Disney D23 Expo this year will feature some of the flagship Superhero-based Games of Marvel like Indiana Jones and Star Wars. On the other hand, the event will also showcase games from Lucasfilms like Monkey Island. Some of the other games showcased during the event will be Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
The event will also give us the first exclusive appearance of the remake of the Old Republic, Ubisoft‘s Star Wars Open World, Quantic Dream’s new Star Wars new game, Bethesda’s Indiana Jones, and Skydance Media’s Star Wars title. Apart from this, the D23 Expo will feature a range of new releases from several Disney-owned labels.
This year’s D23 Expo will start on September 10th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Korea time. The tickets for the event have already been completely sold out. The event can be watched online for free on Disney D23’s Official YouTube Channel or Marvel Entertainment’s Official YouTube Channel. Fans attending the event in person can watch all the showcases live on the premier stage with exciting presentations by special guests and will also have exclusive giveaways.
