Diablo Immortal will officially release on Android and iOS this June 2nd

It's time to pre-register now!

Gamers worldwide who’ve been waiting for the Diablo Immortal release finally have a release date. The highly-anticipated title is set to launch globally on Android and iOS on the 2nd of June, 2022, which is just a little over a month away, along with an open beta for PC on the same date, where it is free as well.

The AAA hack-n-slash experience has been plagued by a bunch of delays ever since it was announced back in 2018, although, players have seen plenty of good footage from the beta and Alpha version of the game.

The game is set between Diablo II and Diablo III

A new post on the website for the game announcing the global beta says the following quotations.

A battle for the ages draws near. The Burning Hells’ flames flicker and crackle in anticipation, an omen they seek to communicate—Diablo® Immortal™ is coming! On June 2, brave adventurers in most regions* will take up arms against the demonic forces of Skarn, Lord of Damnation, as they uncover events taking place between Diablo II and Diablo III.

The game will have controller support on all platforms it drops on along with cross-play and cross-progression.

Diablo Immortal aims to bring the classic Diablo experience to mobile devices

For anyone who isn’t aware of all of this though, Diablo Immortal is a new addition to the AAA franchise by Activision Blizzard. The title has been in development for a while and it is bringing the classic Diablo MMORPG experience to mobile devices.
