Kabam’s fast-paced combat RPG Disney Mirrorverse has announced that the game’s chapter is coming to a close, and will shut down on December 16th, 2024. The game will come to an end after having completed a 2-year run for mobile devices.
Disney Mirrorverse has been removed from the official store pages and turned off in-app purchases
First revealed to be arriving on mobile platforms back in 2022, Disney Mirrorverse received an official launch on both Android and iOS on June 23, 2022. In this game, you step into an alternate universe where familiar Disney and Pixar characters take on powerful new forms as Guardians.
The game combines action-RPG elements with fast-paced combat, where you can assemble teams of three Guardians, each with their unique abilities and roles, say Ranged, Melee, Tank, and Support. You will need to strategize and balance your teams as they take on various missions, exploring new environments and unraveling the storyline.
However, even though the game banked on the hit Disney franchise and its characters, the developers did not see a positive future, and sadly after completing its second year, the game will be discontinued at the end of this year. Despite the game’s end of service, the remaining updates are planned for the coming weeks to provide a conclusion to the Mirrorverse saga.
As of September 17th, 2024, in-app purchases have been disabled, and the game has been removed from both the Android and iOS app stores. However, if you are among the ones who already have it installed, you can continue to enjoy the remaining content until the servers are turned off.
