After the Standout Attackers pack, eFootball 2026 now shifts focus to the other end of the pitch with the Big Time & Show Time Standout Guardians 25-26 Season’s Best pack. This time, the spotlight falls on defensive stability and protection at the back, headlined by Big Time Gabriel Magalhães, alongside Show Time picks in Gianluigi Donnarumma and Achraf Hakimi.
eFootball 2026 Big Time & Show Time Standout Attackers players
Gabriel Magalhães
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Show Time Skill: Long Reach Tackle and Aerial Fort
Big frame, strong aerial presence, aggressive defending, everything you’d expect from Gabriel is here. The permanent B form is honestly one of the biggest positives too, because that consistency matters a lot for defenders.
Aerially, this card should be ridiculous. Between the height, jumping, physicality, and Aerial Fort, he’s going to dominate most duels in the air. Ground defending is strong as well, and getting both Long Reach Tackle and Aerial Fort together is exactly what you want from a meta CB.

The leg length slightly holds him back. For such a physically dominant CB, a leg length of 7 feels a bit underwhelming compared to some of the elite defensive cards. Those acceleration numbers, although Speed can reach the high 80s, are still slow, given how demanding the game has been for pace.
That said, for a Big Time card, it honestly doesn’t feel like much of an upgrade. If you compare him to the older Show Time Gabriel from the English League TOTS pack, the stats are almost identical. So while this is still a very strong CB, it doesn’t really feel like a major jump forward.
Suggested Skills: One Touch Pass, Long Throw
Suggested Booster(s): Defending, Aerial Block, Shutdown

Gianluigi Donnarumma
- Position: GK
- Playing Style: Offensive Goalkeeper
- Show Time Skill: GK Spirit Roar
Donnarumma cards are usually reliable, and this one looks no different. Big reach, strong reflexes, and overall, just the goalkeeper that covers a lot of the goal because of the frame itself. I’ve always liked his POTW versions because they tend to feel very consistent in-game, and this card looks similar in that sense.

Reflexes and reach are the standout parts here, so close-range saves should be where he performs best. GK Spirit Roar is the new thing here, but honestly, I’m still not fully convinced about how much impact it actually has. In-game, it’s hard to say how noticeable it really is compared to proper stat differences.
Still, purely from the goalkeeper side itself, this looks like a very strong option. Especially if you prefer taller offensive keepers who naturally cover more space. I would say he would be second just to Edwin Van Der Sar.

Achraf Hakimi
- Position: RB
- Playing Style: Offensive Wingback
- Show Time Skill: Edged Crossing and Acceleration Burst
Hakimi is a weird one because the Show Time skills and stats combo feel slightly all over the place. Edged Crossing and Acceleration Burst together push him toward a very attacking role, almost like an RMF, but the defensive side of the card has actually improved a lot.
Pace is obviously the main thing. He’s going to fly up and down the flank all game, and stamina backs that up easily. Physical contact is also so much better, hitting 90, so defensively, he is undoubtedly the best Hakimi card we have got yet.

The passing is where I’m not fully convinced. Giving him Edged Crossing is nice, but the actual passing itself still feels a bit underwhelming for fully relying on him creatively. Because of that, I actually think focusing slightly more on the defensive side makes sense.
The defending stats are good enough now to make him more balanced rather than treating him like a pure attacking fullback. At the same time, you still don’t want to ignore the offensive strengths completely, so the build kind of ends up somewhere in between.
Suggested Skills: One Touch Pass, Through Passing, Weighted Pass, Double Touch, Outside Curler
Suggested Booster(s): Crossing, Agility

Should you spin for the Big Time & Show Time Standout Guardians 25-26 Season’s Best pack in eFootball 2026
This pack is a pretty easy skip, given there are definitely better ones coming. I would say Donnarumma is an SSS pick here, but if you have any top-tier GK in your ranks, then you shouldn’t go for him. Here’s my final cards tier list and pack rating.
| Tier | Players |
|---|---|
| SSS (Endgame) | Gianluigi Donnarumma |
| SS (Excellent) | Gabriel Magalhães, Achraf Hakimi |
| S (Strong) | None |
| A (Good) | None |
| B (Average) | None |
| C (Below Average) | None |
Pack Rating: 2 out of 5
