Everdale, Supercell’s calm world-building game, which was soft-launched this August, is set to receive its first update. It adds new features and introduces balance changes to the game. During a community update video on YouTube, the game’s community managers introduced the first new feature being added to the game, Photo Mode. Players can now assign their villagers to a particular decoration, where they will sit or stand around or dance. Players can take their pictures directly in-game through the Photo Mode. Then, they can save those photos or share them with the community and their friends.
Send Gifts to your friends
Players can now gift items to their friends with help from some cute spirits. They’ll give 3 possible gift options, followed by a cute little message thanking them for being alongside on such a beautiful journey. The Spirits will deliver the items to his own friends. The best part is that these items are not taken out from their own inventory, but created by magic. To make things even better, a free deco bundle named “Relaxing by the Pond Bundle” features 6 deco pieces. Players can also use #Everdalelife on social media to share posts with the community.
New balance changes
Coming to the balance changes, resource requirements for raw materials have now been reduced. Donation of coins for construction tasks gives more reputation points among other changes. UI changes have also been made and the menu will now be refreshed. Photo Mode and Time Estimates can now be found in the menu along with News and links to the game’s social media accounts, settings, and support options.
Other changes include new building themes, updated friend invites, new decorations, bug fixes, pink roofs. The Dev team has thanked the community for suggestions through a Reddit post, requesting for the same. An ability to rotate houses has also been introduced. The Valley Management System is also being worked on. Although, it will be coming in the next update, instead of this one.
