Fall Guys Mobile’s new gameplay screenshots, icon, and key art surfaces online

Looks promising!

Exciting news for fans waiting for the mobile version of Fall Guys as fresh leaks have surfaced, revealing new details about the highly anticipated mobile version of the game, including gameplay screenshots, icons, and key art.

Fall Guys Mobile gameplay screenshots share hints at game being close to being released

In the recent leaks shared by Muffins on X, we saw a 4K version of the upcoming Mobile key art, alongside four new Fall Guys Mobile screenshots. Notably, the logo looks slightly different from what we have now, but mostly in colors and not in the font or design. There’s no mention of “Mobile” in the logo, which I believe they might not include in the title either.

Now, coming to the leaked screenshots, there are four of them. These images reveal a user interface designed for touch controls, complete with various on-screen buttons. While full gameplay footage has yet to be released, the screenshots provide a clear idea of what the mobile experience will look like. I believe these are signs of a finished product.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, or in short Fall Guys, which launched on August 4, 2020, for PC and Consoles, quickly became a sensation in the gaming community. Developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital during its launch, this multiplayer battle royale game offers a fresh take on the genre by replacing combat with colorful, chaotic mini-games.

Speaking about its gameplay, you compete in rounds of randomly selected challenges, primarily involving races, obstacle courses, and platforming elements, where the goal is to survive or reach the finish line before others. The game’s quirky, fun approach led to an overwhelming surge in players, even causing server issues on its launch day.

While in its launch year, the developers had no plans for the mobile version but it changed in 2021 as Epic Games took control of the franchise after they acquired Tonic Games Group, the parent of Mediatonic. Just like Fortnite, they quickly added cross-platform compatibility and it was believed we would see the game in a year or two but the fans have still eagerly awaiting a mobile version for four years now.

Fall Guys Mobile will have strong competition on mobile with several alternatives lined up

It’s not that the genre lacks an audience; there are already some great mobile games available, along with a flood of Fall Guys knockoffs. The most popular one is Stumble Guys. We also have top gaming companies jumping to the genre, such as NetEase Games releasing Eggy Party, Party Stars under works from Tencent Games, Mobile Party from Vizta Games, Lilith Games coming with Project Party, and SEGA bringing Sonic Rumble to the mix.

All that being said, Fall Guys was the trendsetter, so surely it won’t be a surprise if it quickly climbs up the ranks when it gets launched. That said, there’s still some time before the official release, but with Epic Games resolving its disputes with Apple and bringing the Epic Games Store by 2024, we might see Fall Guys debuting there.
