Fantasy Life Online is the follow-up by Level-5 to the amazing Nintendo 3DS game Fantasy Life. Fantasy Life Online was recently announced to get a Western release through Boltrend Games on iOS and Android. In a shocking announcement by Level-5, it has said that they will end the services of Fantasy Life Online for Japan from the 15th of December, 2021 at 14:00 JST. The Western publisher, Boltrend Games, has brought over many Japanese games to the West over the years like Disgaea RPG and Arc the Lad R.
Reasons for shutting down of Fantasy Life Online in Japan
Fantasy Life Online by Level- 5, was first launched back in July 2018, for both iOS and Android devices. The announcement of service end is only for Japan as of now. Although, it is unclear whether the Western release will be affected by the decision of the game closing in Japan.
The reason for shutting the game down has been stated that Level-5 could not provide a satisfactory experience to the players going forward. Thus, they will be putting an end to the game.
Since launch, we have strived to achieve our goal of operating a game that players can enjoy, but have come to the conclusion that it will be difficult to provide satisfactory service going forward, and have thus decided to end service.

About Fantasy Life Online
The game is still supposed to release in the Western hemisphere under the banner of Boltrend Games. It is supposed to have 12 different jobs or lives with three different character classes. These classes were namely the fighter, the gatherer, and the manufacturer to choose from.
A newly-featured village did increase the excitement as players could manage and do fun things to relax on the vast map. This epic adventure also has thrilling fights that can be enjoyed in both solo or co-op mode. Players will be able to collect resources and craft items to live their life.

I hope they’ll release the western ver. I’ve played the 3DS game and the android closed beta. It’s a great game.
