The Mobile gaming industry is set to get a new player in the business as former NFL player, Morgan Kane and ex-Activision producer, Joel Balyeat have joined forces to launch a new Mobile Game Studio. Marauder Tech Games, the new independent gaming studio will focus on creating new and innovative strategic games under Kane’s leadership and Joel Balyeat’s creative guidance.
Marauder Tech Games already has its first turn-based strategy title, Price of Glory under development
The studio is already working on its first release. Since it will specialize in premium strategic titles, they are already developing its first release, Price of Glory, which will be a turn-based title. The studio aims to become category leaders in the industry as Morgan Kane and Joel Balyeat will work together to make their dreams a reality.
“Marauder started as an idea more than a decade ago. I’ve always enjoyed strategy games, but at the time, I didn’t have the resources available to start a game studio. In April of 2023, I decided to hire my first developer, and now, more than a year later, we’re ready to start slowly lifting the veil of what we’ve been working on for the past year and a half. Our goal with Marauder’s maiden title is to provide a unique take on the turn-based genre”, quoted Morgan Kane.
Marauder Tech Games aims to strike a perfect balance between the industry’s veterans and the new upstarts as it provides equal opportunity for everyone. The studio aims for global success and with Joel Balyeat‘s vast rich experience, they aim to make it a reality. As stated before the studio is already developing their first medieval turn-based title which will have the classic RPG elements with some unique gameplay twists.
Started with just an idea, the studio, Marauder Tech Games now has over 20 dedicated individuals with all having a shared passion for creating unique strategy games. With already their first title under development, the studio will be aiming and planning for future releases. It will be really interesting to see what impact Marauder Tech Games brings to the industry and the titles it releases in time.
