After the recent survey of Epic Games, Fortnite has been bringing back-to-back massive crossovers for the loopers. The most thoughtful is the anime crossovers, as anime is the new watch show among teenagers. Since the rumors of Dragon Ball Z crossover with Fortnite, the loopers community has been going wild. This massive crossover did overshadow other new updates in Fortnite but a recent leak is worth looking at. According to the leaks by prominent leaker Hypex, a crossover of Fortnite with League of Legends is coming in Chapter 3 Season 3 featuring Mel skin.
So it’s time for the LoL fans to rejoice as this Mel skin will probably not be the only skin coming from Arcane. And with Arcane Season 2 in the making, this is going to be quite interesting!
Fortnite x League of Legends crossover to feature Mel skin in the game
Not only Mel but according to @shiinaBR, we should expect to see more arcane skins soon in the game. Mel is not a playable champion in league of legends but is among one of the protagonists in the Netflix show Arcane, which is inspired by the world of Riot Games’ MOBA. The games from Riot Games are available in the Epic Games Store so it makes sense to add the Mel skin in Fortnite, as both the companies will build a strong relationship that will not only help financially but also socially.
Before this time, Fortnite had a crossover with arcane which featured Jinx, a villainous playable champion in the MOBA game League of Legends and is also one of the two main protagonists of the Netflix show arcane. Just like the other skins in Fortnite, the Jinx skin also came with a bundle.
The Jinx bundle contained back bling, pickaxe, spray, a menu theme song, and two loading screens. The jinx skin came a long time back in chapter 2, so it is likely that if Fortnite decides to bring the Mel skin into the game so they will also bring back the Jinx skin which went missing from the Fortnite store after the arrival of chapter 3.
