Last year, NetEase announced a partnership with 11 Bit Studios to bring Frostpunk, the famous society survival BAFTA-nominated title, to mobile platforms. Later during the NetEase Connect 2021 event, the game released its first trailer. Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice has now started its early access in Australia, New Zealand, and The Philippines for Android. The game will take players into a deep dive of a journey with philosophical elements debating life, death, and everything in between.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world that is permanently frozen over and will be a true scaled-down version of the original PC and Console title. The players’ job is to manage the human establishment they build and make sure it flourishes. They’ll have to make tough decisions and build up hospitals and museums, and other structures to make a return to the old, civilized world.
How do download Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice on Android (APK)
If you’re in those three regions ie Australia, New Zealand, and The Philippines, you can head to your Google Play Store and download the game. Any purchases made will be added to your account in the global release version with a bonus during this period. If you’re not in those locations and want to play the game, you can follow the steps given below.
- To get the game, you need a Google account belonging to any of those three regions.
- Use a VPN and connect to Australia, New Zealand, or the Philippines
- Create a new Google account.
- Skip the option to add your phone number.
- Agree to the TnCs.
- Once your new account is ready, click here to go to the game’s Google Play Page.
- Download the game.
- Keep your VPN on while playing the game.
