Genshin Impact and Pizza Hut are once again teaming up for a collaboration in 2023 aimed at bringing specially designed pizza boxes to locations outside of China for the very first time. The good news is that Genshin Impact fans who will participate in this event will be able to earn special bonuses with their orders.
Genshin Fans in Japan now would be able to collect the official Genshin merchandise
Genshin Impact once before collaborated with Pizza Hut too, but that was exclusive to China. However this time around, they are taking a step forward and launching the collaboration in Japan too. Last time around the event went so well that it had to be temporarily shut down by the authorities, with respect to the pandemic situation. Hence it will be interesting to see how it will go in Japan.
According to the Japanese Pizza Hut handle the event is scheduled to go live on May 9th. Customers may receive a pizza box featuring illustrations of Yelan and Ningguang in stylish outfits until June 18. Additionally, each order from Pizza Hut will be containing an exclusive promo code for two crafting recipes, a Mint Fruit Tea recipe, and a Super Deluxe Pizza recipe. To top it off, players will also be able to add a multipurpose file depicting Yelan or Ningguang for an additional cost of 200 yen.
Genshin Impact is a very iconic and popular game across the globe but the popularity of the game in China and Japan is unparalleled. The game is huge in both these countries and with the last successful collaboration, it can be said that this one would also be a hit. My Box Set quantities are limited per each participating Pizza Hut location during the collaboration period hence fans should be quick with their orders. As of now, there is no information on whether the collab would happen in other countries too.
Chances of more HoYoverse collaborations remain high
With Genshin Impact having this collaboration with Pizza Hut again, chances of more such collaborations happening in the future also increase. Especially now with Honkai Star Rail also being released, HoYoverse would be looking to have more collaborations in the future. For fans, however, it will be a great opportunity to get their hands on official game merchandise once more collaborations are announced.
