Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, the 3D role-playing strategy title is going global with its English version

Girls in action!

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, the strategy RPG based on the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, is going global soon. The makers have already opened the English accounts regarding it, and now, the wait is for the testing phase and the official release on both PC and Mobile.

The game saw an official launch for PC and Mobile last year in China, and exactly half a year later, we have received the news of the English version to enjoy. The game is from the China-based developer MICA Team, which has also developed the prequel that was first released back in 2016.

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium presents a fantastic dystopian world

I’ll give you a simple overview of the game, based on the Girls’ Frontline universe, the game is set in a dystopian future where players control T-Dolls (tactical dolls) to combat various threats. The story follows Griffin, a powerful security contractor, facing threats from the government. Griffin leads a group of androids on a journey through a polluted wasteland to reach a purification zone.

The game presents a healthy mix of real-time strategy and turn-based tactics from what I’ve noticed. Featuring both returning characters from the original Girls’ Frontline and new T-Dolls with unique abilities, you can customize them with various equipment, skins, and upgrades.

I’m not sure how the gameplay will compare to the Chinese version, but I expect some similarities to be retained. The franchise after the launch of the game has seen huge popularity and multiple games, so banking on the global market was the right thing to opt for.

I’m flabbergasted with the popularity of this title already, as it’s gaining followers across multiple social media platforms. On X, it already crossed 11,000 followers just an hour after the official tweet, so surely good signs for the makers.

Currently, there’s no specific information about the English and global versions of Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, including details on the release. With testing likely to start soon following the opening of the accounts, we’ll have to wait for more updates. Stay tuned for the latest details, and keep an eye on the official website for more information.
