SuperGaming’s highly anticipated battle royale title Indus Battle Royale Mobile has kicked off an open beta test following multiple rounds of closed beta tests. Launched to drive a wider player base testing, the open beta is open on both Android and iOS platforms.
The open beta introduces the grudge system in Indus Battle Royale
Indus is SuperGaming’s India-inspired battle royale title, initially scheduled for release in 2022. Since the initial trailer was launched, the game achieved remarkable milestones, where in February 2023 it crossed over a million registrations, and later confirmed over 7 million pre-registrations during the announcement of the inaugural Esports Invitational tournament in October 2023.
Speaking about the game, you can get to experience next-gen gunplay on mobile, where you take on a quest for glory and riches. You, Mythwalker, are tasked by COVEN to retrieve Cosmium, the galaxy’s most valuable resource on the mysterious planet Indus. This unique substance manifests during battles, and finding it ensures instant victory, sometimes, triumph doesn’t wait for the last man standing.
Now, let us talk about what’s new. The open beta brings an exciting new feature called the Grudge System, where revenge plays a key role. When a player is taken out by an opponent during a match, they can choose to declare a Grudge.
This system will then prioritize placing the two players in future matches, giving them a chance to settle the score. In the next match, if you manage to defeat the player who beat you before, you’ll get rewards like new looks for your character, exclusive cosmetics and other in-game goodies.

- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for Indus Battle Royale and select the game. You can directly access the game here.
- Tap the Install button to download and participate in the open beta.
Steps to download for iOS users
Below are the steps you should follow if you are on iOS.
- Download the Testflight app from the App Store.
- After installing, follow the invitation link provided here.
- Tap Install to download and install the beta version of Indus Battle Royale on your iOS device.
A limited-time pre-launch battle pass for Indus will also be available, priced at 150 Indus Credits, an in-game currency. This battle pass offers exclusive rewards like the Legendary Avatar Heena, based on athlete Heena Sidhu, along with special skins for vehicles and weapons.
The release date of the game hasn’t been announced yet, so players who don’t get the opportunity to play the beta will have to wait for a while for other tests or an official release.
