Legends of Runeterra Patch 1.15 (LOR) will be coming out at 11 am PT on November 24th. In this article, we will be going over what it’s bringing along. Riot also mentions how the next patch (1.16) will have an additional one-time 200MB download. This is to make all future updates afterward be significantly faster. Therefore, today in this article, we will go over the changes in Patch 1.15. Speaking of which, let’s begin with those changes!
New Lab: Recursive Heroes 101
In this new Lab, you can choose one of Heimer’s premade decks (which is nice for new players) with Jinx, Shyvana, Gangplank, or Trundle.
You can also build your own singleton deck with only one champion of your choice. The rules for this Lab are:
- Your champion always starts in your hand.
- When your champion is killed, it becomes imprisoned in a Landmark that spawns in its place.
- A Jailer will spawn on your opponent’s side of the board as your champion is imprisoned. Kill your opponent’s Jailer to revive your champion next round.
Round Timer Update
An interesting change to the Round Timer will be coming with this update with the purpose of smoothing the pace of each game. So now you can ”bank time.” The quicker you end your turn, the more time you will bank which can then be used later when it might be more useful.
Additionally, repeatable effects like Vault Breaker give less additional time each time that action is taken. So infinite rounds are essentially impossible. Be sure to give Riot feedback on this change – they mention that they’ll be keeping an eye on it for further improvement and fine-tuning.
Player Profiles are about to get a serious upgrade. They will now show you an overview of your collection’s completion rate, Region Road progress, and more. You can check you profile by clicking/tapping on your Player Icon.
The first Seasonal Tournament is almost here. To see how you’ve been doing this season, click/tap on the new Tournament tab. It will show you your current rank and your Prime Glories.
The top 32 competitors will receive cash prizes. All Seasonal Tournament participants will receive a Tournament Competitor Icon and getting at least three wins in the tournament will get you the Tournament Competitor Card Back.
- New Board: Snowy Glade
- New Guardian: Umpa
The Snowy Day Card Back will also be available for purchase.
The Snow Day Bundle is now available for 2394 Coins. It includes the Snowy Glade Board, Umpa Guardian, Snowy Day Umpa Guardian Variant, Snowy Day Card Back.
Language Support: Vietnamese
Additionally, the game now supports the Vietnamese language. New players should be correctly auto-detected while existing players can swap languages in their login screen settings.
That concludes everything of relevance within the Legends of Runeterra Patch 1.15. We will be getting it earlier than usual, but it can be assumed the next patch will follow the normal schedule.
