- Miraibo GO is a monster-themed open-world survival game that is very similar to Palworld and Pokémon Go.
- The game is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
- You can request a refund for any unused VIP membership and guild servers before the service shutdown date.
DREAMCUBE has announced that it will shut down its Palworld-inspired open-world survival title, Miraibo GO, on January 17, 2025. The developers stated that the shutdown is due to adjustments in their game development and operation strategies, although it is primarily due to a copyright dispute with Nintendo.
Miraibo Go is set to shutdown after just a month of service due to a copyright dispute with Nintendo
Miraibo Go is a monster-themed open-world survival game similar to the popular Pokemon with guns game, Palworld. The game features over 100 classic monsters, each with unique skills and elements, that you can tame and use to explore the world, battle enemies, and assign them tasks like farming, gathering, and production. It also features a mechanism similar to Pokémon Go, that allows you to catch monsters by throwing a sphere at them when they are vulnerable.
Unfortunately, the Miraibo Go team has announced that the game will cease all operations on January 17, 2025, stating adjustments in game development and operations strategies. While we anticipated this outcome, it happened right after the game’s launch last month.
The game has copied a lot or drew inspiration from similar titles like Palworld and Pokémon Go. This was about to happen, especially after Nintendo pursued a legal case against Palworld for having similarities, although they lost the lawsuit.
You will be able to play Miraibo Go until the termination date
The game has already disabled game top-up services, but you can still enjoy the game just fine until the termination date. However, the Free World will shut down on December 20, 2024. And finally, the VIP membership and guild servers will go offline on January 17, 2025. On the same day, all other game operations will cease, and you won’t be able to enter any of the game’s worlds after that.
However, there is some good news for you if you have invested money in the game. You can request a refund for unused VIP membership and guild servers before the service shutdown date. Keep in mind that not everything will be eligible for a refund, which is kind of unfortunate. You can process your refunds via your respective payment channels, Google Play or App Store. The game is no longer available to download on both app stores.
