Good Smile Company and NEKO WORKs have announced their upcoming social title, NEKOPARA Sekai Connect, scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in Spring 2026 in Japan. Meanwhile, Yostar Games‘ anime-style Neko romance simulation title, Nekoparaiten! has been canceled. However, Yostar Games will collaborate with NEKO WORKs and Good Smile Company to promote this game.

NEKOPARA Sekai Connect is a social cat comedy game planned by Sayori, the creator of NEKOPARA, and the latest addition to the beloved NEKOPARA romance adventure series that sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide. In this game, you will encounter new Live2D catgirls from across the globe, alongside all the beloved catgirls from the original games.

All the catgirls originally planned for Nekoparaiten! will now be available in NEKOPARA Sekai Connect. If you didn’t know, Yostar Games has been developing Nekoparaiten! since 2019. It was supposed to be a part of the NEKOPARA series, but unfortunately, the game’s development has been canceled. But the good thing is that Yostar Games will promote NEKOPARA Sekai Connect globally with Good Smile Company and NEKO WORKs.
Although the game will initially launch in Japan, I am quite excited about it because I love cats a lot and have a soft spot for cute things, and this game offers both. It will also feature five schools, each with its atmosphere, attended by various adorable catgirls with unique personalities. The character designs are pretty, especially Quince, Yuzu, and Palmyra. I am eagerly waiting to try out this game when it launches.
