Netmarble announced a new idle RPG KOF title, The King of Fighters AFK, and premiered a teaser video of the latest game at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. Netmarble Neo is developing the game based on SNK’s classic KOF IP.

Netmarble has revealed a new KOF game at the SNK booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024 based on SNK’s The King of Fighters IP. The King of Fighters AFK is a character-collecting idle RPG title utilizing iconic KOF’s IP. Netmarble Neo is currently developing the game and has previous experience working with SNK.
This game brings iconic characters from the King of Fighters series in a reimagined manner using pixel art, a dot graphic style similar to the Neo Geo Pocket version of “King of Fighters R-2“.
Additionally, the King of Fighters AFK also brings all the core characters of the KOF series, making it more fun for you to collect all the iconic characters. You will also get to see a unique combat system that is not present in other KOF titles, which allows you to have fun with strategic gameplay and character development.
