June is going to be full of adventures!

The June 2022 content Update adds a slew of new events to Pokemon GO! Trainers can get all the information they need here. As the month of May draws to a close, Niantic has announced the numerous activities that trainers will be able to participate in throughout the month of June. In June, a new season will begin, bringing with it a slew of exciting new activities for Pokemon GO. We’ve gone over them in depth below, so have a look at everything you will get to play.

The season of GO kicks off in June

In June, Pokemon GO players will be able to enjoy a new in-game Season. It’ll be known as the Season of Go, and it’ll kick off on Wednesday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. local time in your area. Trainers will get to enjoy a new in-game Season in Pokemon GO in June. It will be called the Season of Go and will begin on Wednesday, June 1 at 10:00 AM local time in your region. With this upcoming season, the developers are also reducing the level at which Trainers can begin earning Candy XL. Now, all Trainers who have reached level 31 and above will be able to earn Candy XL in the game.

Pokemon GO Fest 2022 will be held this month

In the month of June, the Pokemon GO Fest championship for 2022 begins. Trainers will get the opportunity to meet the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin during the two-day event. It will make its debut in Pokemon GO at this event and is also known as the Gratitude Pokemon. Join the fun in Pokemon GO Fest 2022 on Saturday, June 4, 2022, and Sunday, June 5, 2022, and encounter the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin, the Gratitude Pokémon, for the very first time in Pokémon GO.

Pokemon GO: Upcoming events in June 

  • Adventure Week: Adventure Week returns! Get ready to explore the wide world of fossils and Rock-type Pokémon during this fan-favorite event running from Tuesday, June 7, 2022, to Sunday, June 12, 2022.
  • Pokémon TCG Crossover Event: Universes are colliding! Fans of the Pokémon TCG will want to see what we have in store for this exciting crossover collaboration, taking place from Thursday, June 16, 2022, to Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Featured Pokémon in raids

The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids throughout June 2022 update in Pokemon GO.

Five-Star Raids

The Legendary Pokémon Kyogre, Groudon, and Mewtwo will return to five-star raids this June! However, do remember that Raid rotations all start and end at 10:00 a.m. local time on the dates listed unless otherwise noted.

Mega Raids

Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Steelix, Mega Venusaur, and Mega Blastoise, will appear in Mega Raids! However, do remember that raid rotations all start and end at 10:00 a.m. local time on the dates listed.

Raid Hours

Every Wednesday in June, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The following Pokémon will be featured.

June Research Breakthrough encounters

From Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7) to Friday, July 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Klink will be available in the June Research Breakthrough encounters

Pokémon Spotlight Hours

In the month of June, Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and each will spotlight a different Pokémon and a special bonus!
