PUBG Mobile has been building up speculations that PUBG Mobile India would be re-launched soon in one of the game’s biggest markets after the global version was banned back in September. As claimed by many users, the game was apparently available for download on the official PUBG Mobile India website. Apparently, devs were testing out the PUBG Mobile India APK download link. Although the link was not working, some users claimed they could view the news section on the website which displayed the download link.
About the incident
On the PUBG Mobile India official page which was previously taken down after the ba, it reportedly showed two buttons. While the first button led to a Google Play Store listing of the game, the second was said to be an APK link via which users can download the game. This has now raised the speculation that the official site is testing the bandwidth before the official launch of PUBG Mobile India.
Many PUBG fans and even Youtubers have reacted about the incident and shared on social media platforms. PUBG Mobile commentator, analyst and content creator Ocean Sharma had also shared an IG story regarding the incident.
On Friday PUBG Mobile India released a ticker stating that the game will be available for download within a few hours on Google Play Store as well as an APK download for Android devices. However, there has been no official announcement from PUBG Corporation regarding this. It is believed that many of the questions shall be answered on the official Facebook page of the site where they are expected to conduct a press conference on November 24. It is to be noted that earlier TapTap started pre-registrations for PUBG Mobile India on their website.
About the PUBG Mobile India version
Sure enough, the game is going to be launched with few to many changes within. Is it going to be very different from the Global version which we are used to? Or with minor changes, of course, we can expect the popular battle royale to be back? How is it going to be less violent than the Global version? We will have to wait and watch!
