Today an announcement just came from the official Twitter of PUBG New State regarding the second closed alpha test on August 27-29. In June, the game hosted its first closed alpha testing in the United States. The game was available for Android devices only at that time. But this time, players from 28 regions of the Eastern hemisphere will get a chance to participate in the program with registrations opening from August 9.
PUBG New State Second Alpha announcement
PUBG New State, the sequel to the most popular battle royale, PUBG Mobile, ran its first alpha test from June 11-13, 2021. “With the incredible amount of feedback from the testers, we have made some key improvements to PUBG New State and are now ready to expand its playability to a much wider audience”, the announcement trailer said.
The second closed alpha test of PUBG New State will begin from the 27th of August, 2021 and will run till the 29th of August, 2021. The game will be soon launching for iOS devices. To make more people engaged, PUBG New State is going to release the testing in 28 different countries. The countries are Bahrain, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Egypt, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Laos, Lebanon, Macao SAR, Maldives, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Minimum device specifications
The second Alpha Test is only available on Android mobile or tablet devices that are running Android OS 6.0 or higher. The minimum requirements require a minimum of 2GB RAM, to ensure an optimal experience for the player. With the release of the game on iOS devices soon, the game will run on the iPhone 6S or later models, running iOS 13.0 or higher.

There are also reports of a couple of battle passes that would be arriving in PUBG New State. These are the free pass and the paid pass. Although, things haven’t been confirmed as of now.
How to register for the second closed alpha test
As this is another closed alpha test, only a limited number of participants will be able to take part. This game still doesnβt have an option to register for iOS users.
