- Ragnarok M: Classic introduces a shop-free system, relying solely on Zeny as the in-game currency.
- The game includes Offline Battle Mode, a free lifetime Monthly Pass, a safe refinement system, and more features.
Just when I thought The Ragnarok would be the last game in the IP for a while, another Ragnarok game popped up. Titled Ragnarok M: Classic, the specialty of this title is that it brings a shop-free experience for players, and the RPG is now available as a closed beta in the SEA region.
Ragnarok M: Classic is aimed at providing players with freebies and easy progression
Gravity’s latest RPG offers you a refreshing, shop-free adventure, which means you won’t find a paid shop inside. The game focuses on fair gameplay where Zeny is the only currency, and everything can be earned through progression without paying a penny.
I did give a glimpse at the gameplay, and it follows the typical pattern of a Ragnarok game. Simply put, the visuals are great, the free roam is decent, and the story progression also has a Visual Novel style in the middle. The combat is not that good enough, but isn’t very bad either.
You’ll enjoy features like Offline Battle Mode, which lets your character keep grinding and earning rewards even while you’re away. It also has a lifetime Monthly Pass with perks like EXP boosts, drop rate bonuses, and exclusive headgear, all free just by logging in. You can enhance your equipment stress-free with the safe refinement system, guaranteeing success up to +15.
The card crafting system adds even more excitement, allowing you to craft powerful cards weekly by collecting materials from monster drops, Minis, and MVPs. With six classic jobs to choose from, each with its unique skill tree, you can switch roles in real time to tackle different challenges. Plus, all jobs are free to unlock.
With the details discussed, Ragnarok M: Classic closed beta is available on both Google Play Store and App Store if you are from the SEA region. The store page listing indicated a release date of 11th February 2025, although the official confirmation for the same is yet to be given by the makers.
