Rainbow Six Mobile shares Soft Launch roll-out plans, will open with LATAM followed by new regions gradually

Still a wait for global launch!

Ubisoft’s much-awaited action title Rainbow Six Mobile is still far from global release if you are expecting it soon, but the developer team has announced their Soft Launch roll-out plans, which will be opening with Latin American regions followed by gradual releases in other regions.

Rainbow Six Mobile opts for a gradual soft launch to gather feedback efficiently

In their tweet on X, they mentioned that the soft launch phase involves a strategic rollout, starting with territories/regions of moderate size to gather essential data and feedback for further enhancements. This is actually the correct way to proceed with the releases, as the developers are aiming to fix bugs or issues upon release without disturbing the larger share of the user base.

The current focus of the developer is on the Latin American region, with plans to gradually expand to new territories. The team however refrains from sharing specific dates, emphasizing on flexibility for server stability, optimization, and gameplay improvements. Recalling the previous announcement, the soft launch was announced in August 2023 with Canada and Mexico being the regions for the same.

The current soft launch roll-out phase details haven’t been announced yet, and Rainbow Six Mobile is still in the pre-registration phase. Announced first in April 2022, Rainbow Six Mobile began its first beta testing in September 2022 and announced a second beta the following year in March, which started the second beta testing phase in June 2023.

As of now, interested players can register for the same via the Google Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS. However, when the game will be getting a full release is still unknown, and looks like we need to wait for some time once the soft launch phase is over.
