Fans of the popular game Sky: Children of the Light were pleasantly surprised today when an animation project for the game was revealed. According to the developer and publisher, thatgamecompany will be working on the project.
The team is set to create a totally new and original world for players to explore. While little else is known about the project at this time, it’s sure to get gamers excited for what’s in store. For now, the trailer is released concurrently with the announcement at AnimeJapan 2022.
AnimeJapan 2022 brings back past events in the game from April
The event marked the introduction of voice actor Yuki Kaji (Eren in Attack on Titan) as the official celebrity ambassador and influencer partner of Sky in Japan. In addition, the Days of Bloom event is coming back and the Season of Performance will debut on April 11. The event also featured a special trailer to commemorate these years in the history of the game.
Experience multiple realms in Sky: Children of the Light
The game includes a variety of spirits that provide players with in-game currency in exchange for items and Children of Light which provides players Winged Light. A player whose cape level rises enough to collect enough winged light will fly farther since their cape’s maximum energy will increase.
By wearing a cape, players can fly through a once prosperous kingdom. Within the game, there are seven spheres. Each sphere is based on a different theme and represents a different stage of life, as well as a variety of areas to explore.
