Tokyo Revengers is back on mobile in a different presentation, and this time it’s aiming to go bigger. GOOD SMILE COMPANY brings Tokyo Revengers UNLIMITED, the newest title based on the massively popular delinquent franchise, and has officially launched in Japan on Android and iOS.
Gameplay revolves around real-time fighting battles. You build your team using characters from Tokyo Manji Gang, Valhalla, Black Dragon, Tenjiku, and more. Team composition and timing your special moves seem to be key elements, rather than just button-mashing through stages.
The gameplay features real-time fighting battles based on Tokyo Revengers arcs and characters
There’s also a character training and bonding system, where deepening relationships unlocks additional advantages in battle. It feels like a mix of narrative-heavy content and competitive team-based combat, which honestly fits the Tokyo Revengers theme pretty well.

Given how big Tokyo Revengers is as a brand, this feels like another serious attempt to finally land a long-lasting game adaptation. I say this for a reason because there are plenty of familiar names involved to make this project a hit.
Animation is handled by LIDEN FILMS, the soundtrack is composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and the original voice cast returns to bring the characters to life. On top of that, the scenario is written by Seiko Takagi, who worked on the TV anime scripts.
There are also original stories supervised by manga creator Ken Wakui himself. The game covers major arcs like the August 3rd Conflict, Bloody Halloween, Christmas Eve Showdown, and the Tenjiku Arc, along with over 100 fully voiced original stories. For fans, that’s a lot of content to dive into.
The franchise already tried its hand at a major game release with Tokyo Revengers: Last Mission, a 3D ARPG that launched on mobile and PC in Japan in 2024. However, that title eventually announced its shutdown before ever getting a global release.
So while UNLIMITED looks promising on paper, the big question is whether it can sustain itself long-term and possibly expand beyond its home market. If you like the premise, you can get the game on Android and iOS now.
