NetEase has announced that their highly anticipated football game Vive le Football is scheduled for a beta test starting from August 20. The China-based game developing company is known for huge titles like LifeAfter and Rules of Survival. After so many years of domination in the football mobile gaming genre by EA and Konami with their respective FIFA and PES titles, NetEase’s new project is a breath of fresh air for fans of ‘the beautiful game’.
What can we expect in the coming Vive le Football beta test
Vive le Football is NetEase’s first realistic competitive football mobile game that has taken the gaming community by storm. On top of the highly expressive graphics and an innovative but easy to master gameplay, Vive le Football also possesses the FIFPro license, allowing it to integrate real licensed footballers into the game and making it a more realistic option for gamers. While players will be able to participate in leagues as well as friendly and qualifying matches or as a manager in a manager simulation mode, there is additionally a 3v3 street football match mode that fans are excited to experience.
Interested players can use this link to sign up for the upcoming August Competition Test. It is however not yet clear if players outside of China can register for the event or players from which specific countries can and cannot register. Vive le Football previously held an open Alpha test from January 20 to February 3 and a closed Beta test from 21 to 26 April. The game’s Black Box Test in June received a positive response after the game was played for an estimated online time of 526,965 minutes in just 4 days.

In the recent four-day ChinaJoy 2021 event, Vive le Football made its impressive appearance by allowing fans to experience its gameplay. Players could play as their favorite teams and enjoy the gameplay of players of Messi and Ronaldo’s stature as they played Vive le Football in Asia’s biggest game fair.
The highest-rated players in the game
The overall ratings of the highest-rated footballers in Vive le Football have been released and fans are quite pleased with their favorite players’ overalls. As usual, Messi and Ronaldo stand atop the list as the highest-rated players with an equal overall rating of 92. Lewandowski and Neymar Jr. follow consequently with overalls of 91 and 90 respectively. The ratings are reportedly based on the 2019/20 season and may change depending on the players’ performance in the new season.
