In this Mobile Legends patch on Advanced Server, developers at MOONTOON Games are temporarily reverting some equipment changes that will be released in a future patch. Let us break down those adjustments in the Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.78 Update in detail.
Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.78 Update: Hero Adjustments
Silvanna (Buffed)
Devs are reducing the Mana Cost of some skills to match the purple Buff adjustment.
Skill 1 (↑)
Mana Cost: 95-145 >> 70-110
Skill 2 (↑)
Mana Cost: 50-70 >> 35-60
Hayabusa (Adjusted)
Devs have increased his Jungling speed and reverted the Energy cost adjustment for his Skill 2.
Skill 1 (↑)
Base Damage: 190-260 >> 200-260
Skill 2 (↓)
Energy Cost: 0 >> 25
Masha (Nerfed)
Slightly reduced her damage in the mid and late game.
Skill 1 (↓)
Active Damage Bonus: 3% Extra Physical Attack >> 2% Extra Physical Attack
Ultimate (↓)
Base Damage: 400-600 >> 350-550
Lolita (Nerfed)
Based on her actual performance, we have slightly reduced the strength of her Passive shield.
Passive (↓)
Shield of Each Stack: 100 +20* Hero Level +80% of Total Magic Power >> 80 +16* Hero Level +60% of Total Magic Power

Equipment Adjustments
Glowing Wand & Necklace of Durance (Split)
Temporarily reverted the merging of these two pieces of equipment. They will be released in the future.
Twilight Armor (Adjusted)
Temporarily reverted the adjustments to this equipment. It will be released in a future patch.
War Axe (Adjusted)
Optimized the equipment icon. This equipment now combines with the Bloodlust Axe.
Clock of Destiny (Reworked)
The adjusted trigger condition benefits more in the early game, but less in the late game. We want to switch to a new trigger condition to increase the stability of this equipment.
Unique Passive – Blessing (Reworked)
When HP drops below 50%, recovers 15% of HP over the next 2s. When Mana drops below 50%, restores 15% of Mana over the next 2s. Cooldown: 40s.
Queen’s Wings (Adjusted)
Unique Passive – Demonize (~)
Triggers before dealing damage >> Triggers after dealing damage.
System Adjustments
Other
- Simplified the social features area on friends’ profile cards by removing the Unfollow button on the profile cards (you can unfollow them from their main profile page).
- On non-friend profile cards, the Follow and View Profile buttons are now icons, and Unfriend, Invite to Squad, and Send Gift are moved to a secondary menu.
- Fixed a bug with new Squad verification badges. After the fix, Squad leaders with a verification badge who need to leave or transfer leadership must contact Customer Service.
- The Flex Rank 5v5 event will be open for a two-week test on the Advanced Server, allowing players to queue up for Ranked matches regardless of their rank.
- Improved Reporting System: Adjusted the Reporting options for 5v5 mode and optimized the penalty rules for various violations.
- Improved the visuals of the Ethereal Butterfly Recall Effect.
- Argus’ Sacred Statue, Edge of Darkness will be available for exchange by Twilight Coins in the Shop on 5/1 (Server Time).
- Reduced the peak brightness of Basic Attack visuals.
- Added the feature of sending animated emotes in the lobby and in the hero selection phase.

Exorcists Draw Event
It is available for a limited time.
- From the 18th of May, 2024 to the 16th of June, 2024 server time, The Exorcists’ new limited series skins for Kagura and Yu Zhong, along with the Hayabusa and Granger series skins, will be available at the Exorcists event! The first draw each day will be 50% off, and the first 10 draws will guarantee a random permanent skin from the prize pool!
- From the 25th of May, 2024 to the 28th of May, 2024 and the 1st of June, 2024 to the 6th of June, 2024 server time, The Exorcists Premium Supply event will be available!
KOF ’97 Bingo Draw Event
It is available for a limited time.
- From the 24th of April, 2024 to the 31st of May, 2024 server time, the KOF ’97 collab skins, Valir “Kyo Kusanagi”, Paquito “Terry Bogard”, and Masha “Mai Shiranui” will be available! Exclusive ID Tags are waiting to be claimed!
- From the 27th of April, 2024 to the 30th of April, 2024 and the 11th of May, 2024 to the 14th of May, 2024 server time, the KOF ’97 Premium Supply event will be available!
MLBB x KOF ’97 Draw Event
It is available for a limited time.
- From the 4th of May, 2024 to the 1st of June, 2024 server time, MLBB x KOF collab permanent items are available for a limited time.
- During the event, MLBB x KOF ’97 permanent items are guaranteed in the first 10 draws.
100 Diamonds Bonus
On the 1st of May, 2024, the recharge event will be updated, and your progress will be reset. Recharge to 100 diamonds to get an Epic skin, Battle Emote, and other great rewards!
StarLight Pass
- The all-new StarLight skin, Nolan “Fashion Mogul”, will be available from the 1st of May, 2024 to the 31st of May, 2024.
- The all-new StarLight skin, Helcurt “Dream Prowler”, will be available from the 1st of June, 2024 to the 31st of June, 2024 server time.
Lucky Box
Revamped Johnson “Wreck King” will be available from the 24th of April, 2024 to the 7th of May, 2024 server time. Participate in Lucky Box for a chance to get the skin!
Midnight Justice’s Summon
From the 15th of April, 2024 to the 28th of May, 2024, the Silvanna “Midnight Justice” skin will make its debut. Players should participate in the Midnight Justice’s Summon and your first summon will be free!
Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.78 Update: New and Revamped Skins
- The revamped skins, Helcurt “Exoracial Executor” and Helcurt “Evolved Predator” will return on the 24th of April, 2024 (Server Time), with 30% off for the first week.
- Valir “Kyo Kusanagi”, Paquito “Terry Bogard”, and Masha “Mai Shiranui” skins will be available from the KOF ’97 Bingo draw event on 24th of April, 2024(Server Time).
- The new skin, Khaleed “Wave Strider” will be available on the 7th of May, 2024 (Server Time), with 30% off for the first week.
- The new skin, Ruby “Soul Reaper” will be available on the 8th of June, 2024 (Server Time), with 30% off for the first week.
- The Zilong “Summer Waves” skin and Guinevere “Summer Breeze” skin will return on the 8th of June, 2024 (Server Time).
