Among Us has been one of the revolutionary games of 2020. As the game continues to gain more success, developer Innersloth has revealed about its new upcoming map “The Airship” during The Game Awards on Thursday where Among Us won the best multiplayer game title of the year.
The map which was first teased by the Innerloth official Twitter account last month has now got a trailer showcasing snippets of itself.
About The Airship map
The Airship is a massive new map which is far more elaborate than the previous maps with a greater level of colours and details. This map comes along with new tasks and many new features.
Few of the new features include ladders and elevators which players need to use to access different areas of the map. It will also offer multiple spawn points to the players following a meeting, to allow them to avoid grouping up and also from being picked off by an imposter easily.
The map is based on the Toppat Clan Airship, from developer Innersloth’s Henry Stickmin series. Also, Geoff Keighley’s face will be a mask for Among Us.
When will The Airship release in-game?
According to the devs, the new map The Airship is all set to release in “early 2021“. Innersloth hasn’t yet specified any release date for the map. Keep checking this space as we’ll keep you updated once anything is confirmed.
