Minecraft player recreates Minas Morgul, the iconic fortress from Lord of the Rings

JRR Tolkien comes to life in Minecraft!

We once again have yet another awesome Minecraft build. Today, JRR Tolkien’s world has merged with Minecraft and we have several recreations of Minas Morgul, a location from Lord of the Rings, Tolkien’s epic trilogy, created with a lot of dedication and then some modding magic.

Player builds Minas Morgul, the tower of Dark Sorcery from Lord of the Rings in Minecraft

Reddit user u/ImErik50, recently posted his build on the r/Minecraft forum, showcasing the insanely good-looking and detailed build. The build shows off the tall structure, complete with the main tower rising high into the skit, spires off the top of the surrounding structures, and the main bridge.

Minas Morgul, the structure being emulated here, is a key location set in Middle Earth from the game Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. Additionally, Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders have been made use of by the creator, which adds ghastly green hues to the lighting, making the build complete.

The nature of the build is quite similar to others we’ve seen so far. It shows various interests the creator has. Some examples of such builds that showcase the creative potential that the game of Minecraft has for creators willing to put in dedication and effort include Planet Gallifrey from the iconic Doctor Who series, One Piece’s Onigashima, the city of Yahrnam from FromSoftware’s Bloodborne, A historical scene from Operation Desert Storm, Batman’s home- Gotham City, Star Wars Death Star destroying Alderaan and more.

As of now, there’s no mention of a downloadable version of the world for anyone who wants to check it out for themselves. However, there could be one in the future.
